2Rent, but dont buy.Mar 28, 2001
This is a good game to rent for about three days or so, but i bought it before even trying it out. It is a cool game for a while, but it just gets really boring after a while because it is soo unrealistic, and there are so few options. Rent it, but dont buy it

4Pretty fun...Jan 03, 2001
This game is pretty fun. It's not the best 5 star tennis game that I've ever played, but it holds it's ground. There are some real tennis players in the game and also there are some made up tennis players which makes it pretty interesting.

2All-Star TennisDec 07, 1999
For a first crack the game is not bad but even compared to Super Tennis on the SNES this game is way down on the list. Nintendo easily couls have made a better product hopefully they will catch up on the next game. The playing is slow and methodical and the controls are way off. You can not hit the shots you want and at times you dive like an idiot. Definitely check it out first but personally the game just does not hit the spot. Want a good game go back to Super Tennis or ATP Tennis from the Sega Genesis

3What else is out there?Nov 12, 1999
If you are a tennis fan, it's really hard to find a tennis game out there that is true to form. The graphics are just not what they should be, and hopefully either UBI or some other company spruces them up on the next tennis game. The game can be very enjoyable if you have 4 people to play doubles. There are a couple of things that aren't true to life on this game. For one, it's very hard to hit winners, in real tennis, it's much easier, and that's how the game should have been made, but no, it's really hard to hit a winner. Another bad thing, is that they should have evened out the view a little bit better, if you are playing someone, the person on the top of the screen always has a harder time, then the person on the bottom of the screen.

Overall, I enjoy the game, because I like tennis alot, of course, I wish it would be alot better, in the sense of graphics and reality, but it provides the entertainment you somewhat expect. If you don't have someone to play the game with, you might just want to find someone before you go out and buy this game.
