3DO's popular series of ARMY MEN games makes its way to the Game Boy Color in style in this single-player overhead shooter. Play as Sarge, hero of the Green Army, as you attempt to foil the various schemes of the evil Tan Army. You'll see it all in the game's 20+ missions. Arctic wastelands, lush jungles, and desert bases await you, all loaded with enemy soldiers and traps. Gather up a variety of weapons (like grenades and machine guns) to battle the Tans. Keep your eyes peeled for well-armed vehicles such as tanks and jeeps in order to turn up the carnage another notch. ARMY MEN takes full advantage of Game Boy Color's lush palette to create extremely vibrant environments, and digitized voice samples help move the story along. great game, but too easyJul 19, 2000
Army men is great. The graphics are great for the game boy color, although almost everything is green and tan. There are lots of weapons, like grenades, bazookas, mortars, flamethowers, and mines. There are like 25 levels or something. The only thing is it is so easy. None of the levels are very hard. I can't wait for Army Men 2!

Army Men: To Buy or Not To Buy?Aug 29, 2000
I bought this game quite a while ago. It was really hard for me at first. The controlls take quite a bit of getting used to but once you get it down you won't be troubled by anything. I found myself stumbling around looking for what I had to do next a few times but it wasn't any real problem. You can finish the game in a few hours. It has a few voice samples, namely when you find a weapon or health. The graphics are nothing great and the music is simply a beating drum, litterally. If you like shoot-um-up games though, buy it. I really liked it at first. But truth be told, after I beat it I haven't picked it up again.

This game is self-controlled pace game that is challenging to the end. It is tough. It comes with a training course to familiarize your weapons and vehicles. It is awesome.

THiS game was funApr 22, 2000
I thought that this game was really awesome when i first got it but i was kinda let down. The first two missions where fun and challenging but the third level is impossible! It tells me to look for this stupid jeep that i cant find, oh well, im sure I'll find it soon. Also the graphics are excellent for GBC, i mean really ecellent. The setting isn't repetitive and when the green army men are shot down by me sometimes there bodies shatter into little pieces, no blood though, just plastic

GREAT GAME!Jun 06, 2000
this game is awesome! You can get mortars, grenades, guns, tanks all that good stuff and blow up little men! I mean, what else do you need? The graphics are great, the game play is fun, I think that it has reply value, you can play like 28 different levels, once you beat it you can start from where ever you want. Or you can just get some cheats or something. you get to detinate buildings and stuff. it's cool.
