GreatJan 16, 2000
A pretty good reproduction of the old Asteroids. The graphics are colorful although a bit dark so you'll need good light. You can see everything well, but the game has the ship & asteroids on a black background (most other games have a light background). The action gradualy builds until you are dodging and shooting for your life...then some new thing shows up and kills you. Good to keep in the bag for layovers at the airport.

Kool gameApr 29, 2001
This is a really good game. You have 3 ships to choose from, each with their own special things that they can do. The only thing that I think is bad is that the last zone is way too easy, and the fact that when you play in expert you don't get any special weapons. But the graphics are great and the whole storyline and gameplay is really cool. This is a great game.

Asteroids Strikes BackJun 20, 2000
This is a new cartridge for an old game. This means if you don't like original Asteroids, you'll not like this one too. But if you've fighted in a wireframe universe for years you cannot miss this one. Many new hazards and enemies will cross your way, ready to be blasted out! There are five space systems to fight in, three ships (four, if you're good enough to win the last one) each with its special defense, the original game hidden (not very well) somewhere and passwords to keep progress made. So what you're waiting for?

It's really cool.Jul 10, 2004
By Pdog1 I bought this game and love it I have played it thriugh entirely at least like 10 times. You have 3 ships all have special powers (i suggest the 3rd one it's my favorite) and you can earn a forth one. Once you beat all of the missions you get the original asteroids and a new ship. I highly recommend this game.
An old classic brought back to lifeJul 12, 2011

I've always been a fan of old archade games and when I dug my gameboy color out from the closet I figured I could aquire a few classics to play. This version of asteroids has color graphics and a few changes but it stays true to the original. There are fifteen levels per zone but I don't know how many zones there are for I have only unlocked four(the fourth zone is very challenging). After playing a few levels you can even unlock the classic version and play it! I am very pleased with this game.
