4The Worm has Returned!Dec 02, 1999

I must admit that I have loved Earthwworm Jim ever since the original game on the Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis etc. Naturally I got a little bit worried about the welfare of this title after hearing that it had switched production teams not once, but twice. When I rented the game to see what it was like I nearly shed a tear. My favorite cow loving, lawyer fearing worm is back where he should be-on top. Although the graphics are not on par with N64 titles such as Star Wars: Episode I Racer and Donkey Kong 64, I looked past it to find a fantastic action shooter with some nifty puzzles and twisted sense of humor. The mission oriented gameplay also livened things up a bit in Jim's sick noggin. Although this game isn't for everyone, hard-core EWJ fans will eat this one up.

5Earthworm Jim 3D- Four minds of madness!Dec 02, 1999

Shiny Entertainment did it again! They have relased another egg-shooting, alien bashing, and just plan funny gem of a game known as Earthworm Jim 3D. This game gives you the first shock of a groovy yellow cratridge! But you're probably asking... What's the plot? Well, The lastest Cow-on-the-Noggin has left Jim in the Hospital. No one can save him while his mind degredes to nothing but squished worm guts. But a ray of hope shines. Out from the annals of Jim's battered mind come a Super Groovy figure. Yes! It's Jim's Super Ego to save the worm! Jim's ego must travel through Jim's Brain of memory, to relive the horrible Barnyard war of '72. Prevent Fatty Roswell from cooking up some trouble in the Happiness Brain. Fight disco zombies, spectral chickens, and killer vaccums while Jim explores his Fears. And finally, Have a rootin-tootin and just plain groooooovy time in the Fantasy brain. This is one of the Greatest N64 games. Buy it! Or Jim will just groove on over and find you!

5Free Jim's Mind?Dec 02, 1999

It's good to finally see Earthworm Jim make his way onto a next generation console. If you loved Jim's previous adventures, this is all that and more. And it's in 3d! A fun game for gamers of all ages.

5Jim's back in the gameDec 24, 2000

I remember playing Earthworm Jim on Super Nintendo, when I was 9 years old. Now Jim's back, and he's better than ever!

This time Jim has been hit by a flying cow (like usual), and he has been knocked into a coma. You're inside his brain, guiding his "superego" around to get back all his marbles. The more marbles you collect, the smarter Jim gets, until finally you find all 1000 of his marbles and he's as smart as a "smart super hero".

There are 4 main levels (4 sections of the brain- Memories, Happiness, Fear and Fantasy). In each level you have to obtain a certain amount of marbles & golden udders (kind of like the stars in Mario 64) to beat the boss. If you have a sense of humor, you'll like this game.

Here are the pros and cons:

PROS:

- Engaging storyline, with fun characters, weapons & bosses

- Graphics are pretty good, very colorful & cartoonish

CONS:

- Sometimes the controls are irritating-- you can get stuck behind a wall or at a strange angle.

- It can be frustrating to be bombarded with rediculous amounts of enemies all at once.

Despite these cons, I still love this game. It's challenging but not impossible, and engaging enough to keep you coming back for more.

I wouldn't recommend this game for little kids because it might be too difficult. If you liked other EWJ games, I guarantee you'll like this one.

5Possibly the greatest N64 title(besides conker's BFD.)Dec 18, 2005

I bought this game for $15 bucks, turns out it was worth every

cent, the graphics totally revolutionize the Earthworm Jim series. The games gameplay offers: Jim sent to the hospital from

the warzone, you must complete about 4 or 6 different peices from

Jim's weird little mind,I mean a seriously weird mind,cheesey

volcanos and chicken eggs attatched to his anonymously weird

zapper? c'mon you gotta laugh some time this game is weird but

simply hilarious!!!They seem to have a market for Blood, gore, and bones though, throughout the game I have noticed

that! My cousin Brandon thinks the game is hilarious! He also

owns the first 2 Earthworm Jim games for Sega Genisis,I don't know if he has earthworm Jim 3D or not though, take my advice

BUY THIS GAME,IT'S FREAKI'N AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
