3Inappropriate but funSep 07, 2005
By Simon
I wouldn't call this a bad game, it's just not an exceptional one. It plays like your average extreme sports title where you ride around, rack up points, and complete goals. Only this time the goals can get wildly inappropriate and your end reward is video clips of strippers doing their thing. The bmx engine and physics aren't the best, but they get the job done.

I've read reviews that completely trash this game because it panders to the lowest common denominator, and I think that's unfair. Yeah girls and potty humour don't elevate average gameplay, but they don't take away from it either. If you like extreme sports titles and are in the mood for dirty jokes and nudity, this is recommended. If not, just stay away. Simple as that.

4This game is hilarious!Mar 16, 2003

This game got so much bad press b/c it contains nudity.. To those of you who believe the "OH No the poor children!" rhetoric, just move along; this game will only further your everything-is-about-the-kids obsession.

For the rest of you, this game is hysterical. The nudity in the cut scenes from Scores is minor and unimpressive; the scenes are so quick (30 seconds tops) that and the nudity even quicker (3-4 seconds and only in 2 or 3 clips.. most are bikini-esque).. So that should tell you that I wasn't motivated by that.

This game is Tony Hawk 4 on a BMX bike.. ... Like THPS4, there are no time limits (altho there is a health limit but that's at your control really). You bike around the level, getting crazy missions from people and witnessing some truly obscene things..

I won't spoil the fun but some examples of the humor in this game are "Yolanda! You better shake that [booty] before I break my foot off in it!" from a ticked off [person], a fireman whose hose has gone limp, etc.

Yes, it's low-brow. Yes it gets kind of redundant (unlike the THPS series, you won't feel much desire to repeat the game through with each character).. But boy is it funny.. And with the parent's groups being what they are, no game like this will likely be done again for a LONG time, if ever.

5IT succeeded in waht was intendedDec 04, 2002

BMX XXX is as it is stated, a BMX game with nudity. It's as simple as that. A BMX game with nudity.

The idea is taken off of Tony Hawk 4 where you bike around and basically do little missions for people out there. However as was expected backlash has occured. Most major retailers won't carry it however as it stands the whole purpose of this (as will dead or alive extreme beach volly ball) is to ease nudity into the mainstream of Video Games. One can honestly say that Nudity plays a larger role in movies as well (as in Halle Berry in Monster Balls I mean Monsters Ball).

Overall this review only states what needs to be said. Nudity in video games was bound to happen. In the end it is up to the parents to decide what games their children should play.

THIS GAME IS NOT FOR KIDS!! HOwever it is the equvelent of an R rated movie in the style like American PIe or national LAmpoons Van Wilder. If like those movies, and BMX games, than dig in.

5Must own game, Ignore bad reviews, welcome to Immaturity !!!Mar 13, 2003

This game is getting a bad rap all together. If people dont knock on it for its content, they knock on it for game play or graphics. Let me just say, there is not too many games that suck you in and you cannot put the joystick down. This to me is one of them. I also thought it was a breath of fresh air to finally hear offensive language in a game, I wish they would do this with other games, especially fighting games. When is the last time you seen a fight where they bow to one another and talk about honor and all that (ex: tekken, dead or alive) NO they dont! They swear at each other, then pound their brains out, this is reality ladies and gentlemen. Anyway, back to this game: Yes there is games with better graphics, but someone saying the graphics stink should be slapped, I thought they were pretty good (want to see ... graphics look at some of the old 16 and 32 bit system games) Yes the controls take some getting used to, to me this just adds to the challenge of the game, a game with a learning curve!! Can you believe it, are you frustrated you cant beat this game in 2 nights like you do with you Mickey mouse mario games you all play? Yes, the challenges get very hard, and are at times confusing: same argument here, I found it great to have a game that challenged me and I couldnt beat. Final note: For those saying this is offensive: Spend the day in NYC and see how many times you here the F word, and how many porno shops are around every corner if you think this is unrealistic. They only thing not realistic is the biker getting up without dying after getting hit by a car. To all those censorship supporters day in day out live my life through you, pushed onto me what's wrong or right, hidden from this thing that they call life - Metallica. You can't hide the kiddies forever, the real world is just outside your door!

2Its a stupid, humerous game.Apr 25, 2011

This game really is dumb, it has funny moments, and you can't go wrong with strippers. But its a game more for voyerism than actual playability.
