5This is Exactly what a sequel should be!Jun 29, 2004
By Matt Mabry
WOW! This is SUCH an improvement on the last one. The graphics are so much better and it's just more fun to be sniping people from a jungle bush than to be split jumping and shooting out a bunch of lights.

Alright there is still no feeling in the world like having a guy 3 feet in front of you, and practically breathing in your face, and he can't see you. it's really fun, but nerve-wracking.

This game's missions take you all over the world, from a speeding train in France, to Israel to a remote Jungle. It really gives the game a sense of reality and it's fun to experience the different places.

Ubisoft has really made a Gem here, and it seems like they really listen to their customers, becasue they have added the SWAT turn, the half split jump and Hand shooting. It just adds another sense of reality to your game to be hanging upsidedown and shooting enemies, or split jumping 3 feet above an enemy and then fly down to knock them out.

In this game, there is a lot of enfasis on using Non-Lethal force, as in knocking them out or hitting your enemies with "Sticky-Shockers" (One of the many cool gadgets you can use with the SC-20K (Sam's new primary Sniper/Assault weapon). This adds a real sense of reality to your game and sets it apart from other games such as 007. And it's all hands on, so you have to sneek up behind someone and then grab them and take them into the shadows and knok them out. If you're not foaming at the mouth over this game by now, it's not for you.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, there is an Online mode on this game, it's sort of like a deadly game of capture the flag, in the dark and with sticky shockers and machine guns. Alright, you play as either the ShadowNet or the Argus team. The Argus are like Terminators, with motion sensing goggles and heavy machine guns. And the Shadownet are like the Sam Fishers of Online, they have to sneek in and take all of the ND133's (Biochemical Agents) without the Argus knowing. It's so much fun on both sides and it's a real nail biter with the ShadowNet teams.

Alright here's a review:

Graphics: 15/10 the Water effects and the shrubs moving behind you, make it very realistic.

Gameplay: 20/10 HUGE improvement on the last game, TONS of cool moves, and the Swat Turn and Half split jump give it an extra kick.

Fun: 20/10 there is STILL nothing like hiding inches from an unsuspecting gaurd, and the ONLINE gives the game so Much.

Difficulty: 10/10 the only thing average about this game, it's not really that hard, but it can be at times. Like when you're in a reoom with 3 SWAT men in there and you have to sneek past them...it's really cool.

Overall: 65/40 this game is so much fun, it's worth buying.

You MUST at least try this game out, it's tons of fun, and worth the money. This is the Epitomy of all Sequels to any game.

5Sam Fishers' pandora tomorrowJul 21, 2005
By John Doe
S.C. Pan. Tom. finally came to the PS2! Worth the wait when you consider the exclusive extras not found in the xbox & pc versions... including alternate pathways in some stages, ability to disable booby traps, post mission stats scoring screen, an all-new jungle mission, and listening to in-mission situation reports(via the USB headset, not included). I was able to buy the game on sale for just 11$ new from a local retailer. Don't worry, the beautiful graphics hold their own vs. the xbox version. Highly rated/Highly recommended. A must have for PS2 stealth-action fans. 1-4 players, rated teen for blood/violence/drug references, an "online" ready game. Nice job ubisoft and thanks for the extras!

5Best first person shooter yetFeb 25, 2004

Splinter cell Pandora tomorrow incorporates all the pluses of the original and all the best parts of it are even better. You can do all the moves of the original, plus a few more. The graphics are even better than the first and there are several outdoor missions in which the sun either sets or rises gradually, changing the shadows in which you can hide. Speaking of hiding, there is now an on screen gauge that tells how visible you are to enemy mercenaries.

There is now a unique multi-player that allows you and three others to play each other, X-box and PS2 have it, but I'm not sure about Gamecube. You can play 1 on 3 or 2 on 2; one side are the spies and the other are the mercenaries. Each are evenly matched, but each have different advantages. The spies can see from a third person view allowing them to be more aware of their surroundings while the mercenaries have a first person view allowing them to shoot more accurately, but they can't see behind or to the side of themselves. Each side has their own gadgets and each have their own weapons as well their own objectives, the spies have to complete an objective and the mercenaries have to stop them. The mercenaries have auto-matic weapons that can easily kill a spy but all the spies have are one shot pistols that can only stun an enemy, thus the only way a spy can kill a mercenary is either by jumping on him or breaking his neck. The mercenaries have the advantage in open combat, but their poor vision means that a spy can gain the upper hand with stealth, at least until they're discovered. This means that both sides need different strategies to win.

5Edge Of Your Seat SuspenseJun 14, 2007

Pandora Tomorrow is one of the best Splinter Cell games in the series. The action is awesome and the stealth is so suspensful that it feels like your heart is beating 100x faster than usual! The AI on the guards is also very well done. I recommend this game to anyone who loves action video games!

This game is a really really good game. It has awesome graphics, the controls are great once you get used to them. The only thing is that it is really dark, but then it has to be. I thought it was really easy but it had some hard parts to it especially the last level. Probably the best game I have ever gotten, worth the money.
