Nintendo DS WordFishJan 19, 2009

The Word Fish game is the absolute best. My 9 year old daughter and I are in fierce competition to get to 100% word power and I cannot believe how much fun it is. She has ignored her other games just to battle me for the top spot and its exciting to see that its fun while both of us are learning. She is actually beating me on some games and I'm no dummy. This game makes it fun while getting a vocabulary boost. Buy this game for your kids and yourself and you will be thankful.

By D. Gordon The game is fine, but it is the same game with a different name(I believe it is My Word Coach, but I am not sure. I enjoyed the original version, but would have liked to have known that it was the same game with a different name. I simply gave one to a friend when I discovered they were the same. I like word and strategic games and usually try most of them. Good product, just let folks know if it is the same game with a different title.

Just another Re-Hash of My Word Coach by UbiSoftDec 13, 2008

My word coach part 2, basically. Even the jazzy background music is the same. The same candy-bar graph that measures how much you've accomplished for the day's lesson is still used. It's one of the big turn offs I had about My Word Coach. To complete the daily requirement, you need to schedule a good 45 min. I like the quick Brain Age type games better.
If you like My Word Coach, then consider getting this one.

Not so greatNov 07, 2009

I bought this game for my son because it seemed like a game for kids. This is a game meant to challenge even adults, so I was bummed it wasn't more kid friendly. Also, the letters on the words are so light. It could have been bolder. It's a bit hard to read.

By Patricia A. Gilbert I bought this game because I thought it looked like a good way to recoop some of those lost brain cells. I was right! It looks like a child's game but it tests you on the definitions of words. Some I knew and some I had never heard of. Will definitely help expand your vocabulary no matter what your age!!
