Great single player/ Horrible multiplayerDec 09, 2009
By C. Taylor MX vs. ATV reflex is big improvement over past MX vs. ATV titles. The graphics are excellent and the new reflex control system works really well. However, the online game play is ridiculous; you have to wait 30 to 45 minutes in a loading area for a match to start. After it does, no telling what will happen. Sometimes it works and you get to race but, most of the time it tosses you out after ½ a lap or so. Please do some research before buying this game for online multiplayer on Xbox Live.

BTW, next year dump all the trucks, buggies and utv's. That's what the Dirt 2 is for. Also, add some more Supercross and National tracks(only 8 of each this year).

By thenungzo Pretty good game if you are a fan of the MX VS ATV series. The new control system is a little hard to get used to at first. Also tricks are a little harder to pull off as well. Once you get the hang of it its great fun. The physics for this game are amazing, it really makes it fell like you are controlling the Bike/Quad.

My son is 10 and has every MX game you can get, he says this is the BEST yet! He races MX and could list a ton of features that are realistic to racing. The dirt, ruts, picking your gear (more choices),body movement etc. One of the thing he liked best when you can see the racers going to the pit area...so many cool things- He would love to see a game that actually had the reall National tracks that the pro's race on like Red Bud, Budds Creek, MX338 etc.

By Bibbit This is a very fun game, but if you have played the previous titles in the series, such as I have, then you won't find it that much more fun or new compared to the last two in the series. Still, it's a fun game and a must have for dirt biker types who like video games.

I started playing rainbow studios games since Motocross Madness and then Motocross Madness 2. I feel after that it kind of went down hill. I had high hopes for Reflex and I was happy with what I got. The controls are great and the dynamic terrain is really cool. I haven't really played the other vehicles so I couldn't say how those worked. I enjoy free riding more and this game doesn't really deliver like the first two did.
Overall though, if you are a fan of these types of games, I'd say it's definitely a buy. Or at least a rental.
