In this puzzle game, you control a cannon in the center of the playing field that can shoot balls of varying colors in any direction. Balls form a spiral from the center of the screen out, and you must clear them by matching colors from your own cannon. If the balls reach the outer edge of the screen, it's game over. Choose from three different gameplay modes. In Panic mode, blast the blazing balls 'til you can't blast no more! The game will continue until you decide to stop, so show what you're made of and last as long as you can. In Checkmate mode, you must solve 50 unique puzzles using your strategic prowess! Can you set up the right chain reactions? Finally, challenge an opponent to a two-player contest to prove who has the best puzzle skills!

Next best thing to TetrisJul 14, 2000
If you like Tetris and other puzzle type games, you will love Ballistic. It takes a few minutes to get used to the gameplay, but once you do you will find yourself picking it up again and again.

By Krisi I got this game a few weeks ago and believe me when I tell you that it ROCKS! If you like puzzle games, you'd definitely love this one. At first it's a little difficult, but once you get the hang of it (which doesn't take too terribly long) you'll find yourself saying, "Just one more game" over and over again. It's totally addicting! I would say that Ballistic is just about as good as Tetris. And WAY better than Bust A Move... Their price is awesome. Or just wherever you can find it, you should totally get it. You'll love it!!

Great adult gameMar 09, 2000
I bought this game about a month ago and haven't stopped playing it yet. There are three different variations of the game and all of them are equally fun. This game would not be good for younger children. There are no fun graphics or characters. On the other hand, it's great for adults. It will definitely keep you amused while waiting on an appointment or just killing time. My only complaint about the game was that it didn't come in one of the plastic cases that so many gameboy games come in.
