3Gambling with a limit?Jul 03, 2000

CP2000 is not what I had hoped or expected. The game has many games to choose from yet it does not have some that you would think. There is only video poker no table poker like in other games(Golden Nugget) this is a bad thing because you can make a ton of money bluffing but you can not make a penny bluffing on a machine. The slot machines are a joke they are slow and lame looking in fact the whole game is slow. Slow to load slow to deal the cards it gets old quick. The "coach" is more like a smart alick friend that tells you what you should have done after you do it, not much help. The game also limits you to the stakes you can bet when you first start out. Slots only .50( come on every one knows that you cant make any money on anything less that $1 slot machine) and 21 only $100 max same for other games with a loan of $2000 I guess that keeps you from losing it all at once; or simply betting it all and if you win saving it, and trying it again in order to get a ton of money it seems kiddie to me. I mean come on this is gambling right? If I blow it all on one spin of the wheel then early night for me. But who knows? This game could have been better for as long as the PS platform has been around. If you like gambling games CP2000 is not bad; but it is no better than any other platform gambling games either.

5CP2000 is the best game everSep 19, 2008

I bought this game back in 2000/2001 and have ignored every game since. I love playing this game because unlike a lot of other games that are out today, this can be relaxing and won't send you to the ER for a stroke. It's fun to see how high you can get as you are rank by game. Once you become a professional at all the games, you are an official member of the emporer's club. To me, that says a lot as the game is based on vegas odds. I recommend this game

3It's an ok gameMay 12, 2008

This game is ok, but it takes too long to play and collect your winnings and you can't change it like in preferences or anything so it is annoying. But it's ok.

Not that good. The iPod poker game is pretty good but this PS game is not.

3Good fun and semi-addictiveOct 10, 2001

Definitely a great game for true casino gamers. There's about 20 different games to play, although some are very similar (e.g. different slot machines). I especially love the Video Poker game called Deuces Wild.

Some of my complaints:
(1) It takes too long to bet, play, and collect winnings. Annoying visualization effects are standable at first, but get frustrating after seeing "Kyle Wins" flash on the screen time after time.
(2) The rating system is great overall, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to move up in Keno (duh...it's impossible to win!)
(3) The cards are unreadable when the "camera" isn't zoomed in on that part of the table.

All things considered though, the things wrong with the game are minimal making it a good deal.
