I would like to say that this game is really good considering it is a Playstation game. It might have celebritys you might not think are worth playing like tommy lee, cleo, carmen electra, busta rhymes, the two announcers, (an alien, werewolf, frankenstein which i don't condsider those three celebs) And mr. T But the game is cheap and Worth playing. Hey, maybe they aren't the best graphics but what do you expect from a playstation game. There are many things to use as weapons like a guitar, stop sign, fish, bazooka, and med kits to restore your health. Plus there are three stars you can get to do a power bomb and other great moves. You can play your friends in two modes plus there are four differnt match types like a standard ring, cage ring, cemetary ring, and a toughman ring(smaller ring.) There are intros and cool ways to kill enemies. If time is over your head and your enemies head will be cut off with a fan. You can save your record of how many matches you have won, lost, or drawed in. You only have to unlock three celebs. Alien, and the two announcers. If I was you I would pick frankenstein considering he is the best. After eleven fights you have won. So If I was you I would not worry about what other people say about this game because it is awesome. I hope this review helps you realize to purchase this game.

This version may not look as nice as the PS2 version, but it sure is a lot more fun. The gameplay is more enjoyable, and the celebrities are very cool to play and beat up ! A slick and enjoyable fighting game for anyone into beating up on lame celebrities !

This game is utterly "Sucky". Its no wonder this game arrived factory sealed and unopened when I bought it. I thought this game would be fun and a kick as game, but it turned out to suck beyond the imaginable! OMG! I cannot believe how bad this game is. Do not buy this game folks. Definately not worth it, It blows, and stinks.
The movements of the celebrities are so lame and so not correct. If they had used the Smack down engine or even the street fighter engine, the game would have rocked, or even the Mortal Kombat engine.
I hope the PS-2 version is better because this game is on my very bottom list. Getting rid of this game immediately. Sucks so bad..

I heard 20 celebrities but that was for the other game consoles. For Playstation 1 you get 11 so called 'celebrities': Tommy Lee, Mr T, Marilyn Manson, Carman Electra, Busta Rhymes, Miss Cleo, Frankenstien, and Werewolf. You get to unlock Nick Diamond, Johnny Gomez, and Mummy. How many of those are really celebrities? Do you consider Frankenstien a Celebrity? I don't even consider Miss Cleo a celebrity and her voice was obvisiously done by a man. I have heard about Busta Rhymes but had no idea what he looked like, sounded like - just that he was some rapper. Do I care if he is in this game?
This game is the worst wrestling game/fighting game I have ever played.The voilence from the TV series is not captured in this game. Finishing move for Tommy Lee for example is him pounding on your chest like it was the drums. Borrrrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnggggggg! Only decapitation here was when you run out of time a celling fan comes down and takes your head off but you can't see it happening because the fan blocks your view of it. The effort in this was obvisiously not the same as Playstation 2s or PC game. I thought I would get a create your own celebrity but this is not in the Playstation 1 version. Where is N'Sync, Carrot Top, Anna Nicole Smith, etc. Noticed most video game stores were not even stocking the Playstation 1 version. I see why. Even they have a conscience. This game is regularly priced at $9.99 and it aint worth it. What you get is a demo version of the real game. I want back my money. This is a stinker. Can you feel the excitement: Miss Cleo verses the Werewolf coming up. Borrrrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnggggggg!
