Decent upgrade over last yearNov 28, 2006
By Brad P. Gurgel I have owned this game for about a week. If you are familiar with the college hoops series you will immediatly be familiar with everything about this game. The game plays almost identically to past versions. The graphics are a little bit dissapointing. They are only a slight upgrade over the past genaration consoles and I don't think they really push the xbox 360 to the limit. Don't be overly fooled by the screen shots provided on various web sites. These are shots of close ups during instant replays and cutscenes. If you do not have an HDTV setup it will be very hard for you to tell the difference between the graphics of this game and last year's game for the ps2 or xbox. The gameplay itself is a blast. This is the college basketball game to get. The only frustrations I have had with actual gameplay are that the computer can sometimes go on streaks where they hit about 10 three pointers in a row (even if the player shooting is only average at best). Layups are also missed a bit too often. The computer seems to cheat a bit and is able to hit a higher percentage of shots within the last minute of the game. This makes close games tough to win. I've already lost a couple of games at the buzzer because of this. Other than these minor frustrations the game has been nothing but fun. This is easily the best basketball game out right now for all the next generation systems.

One Of The Best Overall NCAA Basketball GamesJan 26, 2007
By chadncrystalgale I have been a college basketball game freak for years. This game has the best overall graphics and game play you'll find. It does take time getting used to the new shot stick, but once you learn how to use it you'll wonder why this was never used before. I highly recommend this game if you are a true die hard basketball fan of the NCAA. This game can be difficult if you do not truly understand the GAME of basketball (why I say this is if you are a young kid or buying for a young kid). You need to know how/when to run certain defenses, and what offenses to run to break presses, zones, and man to man defense. Overall I hope this review has helped others.

Solid College Hoops SimDec 17, 2006

If you played and enjoyed NBA 2k7 you'll like this year's college version. You can create your own chant style; the crowd is amazing, the game engine is solid and plays very well. However, that said, CH 2K7 still feels like its prior version in same ways: graphically, I don't think anything has changed, and the player models are not really that good. There are quite a few glitches here and there, but they don't ruin the game. Online, XBOX LIVE, there seems to be more lag time and dropped games for some reason. If you have an HDTV, you do get a clearer improvement of text and graphics.
It will be interesting to see how EA's March Madness stacks up. Rumor is EA used a whole new game engine and not the clunky NBA Live's. For now, CH 2K7 is the only game to get in college version.

I have five things to say about this game:
1. Tons of layup, jumpshot and dunk animations
2. Great atmosphere
3. Silky smooth gameplay
4. Great features (post season NIT, user controlled layup line, chant creator)
5. A must buy for all college basketball fans

Awesome gameDec 30, 2006
By Art Garfunkel Great game...graphics are pretty good despite other people's complaints (then again, I care a lot less about graphics than gameplay). Game play is realistic although like that one guy said, the computer does give itself a major advantage by making themselves hit 3 pointers like crazy.
