My kids and I loved Crazy Taxi on the Game Cube and like it even more now that it is on the PSP.
As other reviewers have pointed out, some changes were made to this version of Crazy Taxi for the port over to the PSP. Most notable is the music score, for me that isn't any issue at all but purists might take issue with the change.
Observations: The game controls are very good on the PSP and were fairly easy to master. The mini-games are fun, but the main game is still the reason to play.
If you like racing style games, this one is recommended for you!
Note: My daughter says this game can make her feel motion sick, but neither my son or I have experienced any problems.

The Good: Its Crazy Taxi on PSP! Fast arcadey gameplay, decent music, custom soundtracks, nice unlockables, multiplayer modes are super fun
The Bad: ...Not a new CR, single player will bore you after a while, graphics aren't too swift, voices are annoying
Well Crazy Taxi 1 and 2 arrive on the PSP with smooth results. The gameplay is fast and just what you expect from Crazy Taxi but if you're not a big fan then this game will bore you after a while. The game is simple: Pick people up and drive them to their destination before the time runs out. That's really all there is. Yes you can bash into cars and drive underwater but that doesn't save CR from getting boring fast. The voices are really annoying but the music is pretty good and custom soundtracks are a great plus here. The multiplayer modes are what make the game really fun. I wouldn't buy this game but a weekend rental wouldn't hurt.

By DTurner I was a big fan of the original arcade game "Crazy Taxi"... except now I don't have to lose all my quarters! I love this game, it's so simple if you want it to be, or you can do the challenges to make it more interesting. I just love it! It's great because I don't always want to sit down and play video games for an hour, I can sit down and literally just play this game for 5 minutes and I will have filled my gaming void!

They did a great job with this port. If you miss the offspring you can ad them with a custom soundtrack. I had to mix all the songs together to get them all to play or then it just repeats the same song over and over but it works well. This port is Dreamcast perfect and great to play in a taxi! Like i did yesterday. Lol. I wish they did the psn/xbla version this well.
