5If you liked UltraMix 1, you will love this oneSep 27, 2005
By A. Dale "ssertslrig"
This game is just like the first one, except it has more songs and more options for different game modes. I think the beginning levels are a bit easier, so that makes it more fun for me, instead of getting discouraged. This game will last for a long time, because there are so many levels of progression to go through.

4Fun, but Ultramix 3 is better.Mar 17, 2006

I play this game with my 10 year old and we like it a lot. We got this game after playing DDR Ultramix 3 for several months and we like 3 better. The songs are better and quest mode is really fun. I do like Ultramix 2 and would recommend it but if you are new to DDR, get Ultramix 3.

If you already have DDR Ultramix 1 then get this!

4Pretty AmazingJun 21, 2006

Wow, this game is something else. It's not really about dancing; it seems a little more like step aerobics. This is perfect for people trying to lose weight. As mentioned, there are many options and several songs, including some familiar ones like "Brickhouse" by The Commodores. Right now, I like the "Workout" option where you can see how many calories you're burning. I think some of the step moves they put on the "beginner" option are too hard for a beginner, but most are reasonable. I also think the steps don't make sense with the music selected sometimes, or perhaps some of the songs just don't make sense to step to. This also makes the game more challenging.

I have had a problem with the game going crazy on me, i.e. in the middle of stepping through a song under "Workout" and the game just randomly exits to the calorie chart, and then to the menu and flies through all the song selections on the menu without my selecting any of that. And it also did this with certain songs I attempted to select--the song would start then immediately cut to the calorie screen. It might just be the disc needs cleaning or a problem with my XBOX drive.

To sum up, this game is great. I am adding it to my exercise regimen!

5DDR Ultramix 2 Live - Most Fun and Challenging Game Out ThereAug 16, 2005
By S. Gupta
Man, this game is awesome. It is similar to all the other DDR games except in this game, you're able to have two pads for one person. It's strange, but amazing. It is extremely entertaining and challenging at the same time. I had played a DDR game only once before and i obviously was not good. I started playing this game on beginner, and soon enough i was on Light, and currently i am on standard, so i've obviously gotten better. If you are looking for a challenging game but also extremely fun, this games for you. But note, as you are having fun playing this, it will WORK YOU OUT!!!
