Diva Starz Mall ManiaJan 02, 2002
By Esther Graves The game is very poor. My 10 year old daughter was able to complete the game in less than one hour (including all "6" games and four levels). It was very simplistic - no challenge. This game is a very poor value for the money. I would advise anyone with a child over the age of 6 not to purchase. The child will not enjoy it and will be very disapointed. We plan on seeking recourse with Nintendo. This game is not worth the purchase price. I did not wish to award any stars for this review, but was unable to post without giving the game at least one star - it does not deserve any.
My 5 year old daughter loves itJun 16, 2010
By Christina "sassynebrasky" I'm not sure why this got such low user ratings. My daughter got this when she was 4 and basically figured it out on her own. Yes, it's easy, but that's good for a 3-5 year playing this game. She needed my help on some of the games when it came to reading, but overall, she played it by herself. It's definitely not for someone older than about 6 as I can see it being too easy and monotonous. For a preschooler, it's perfect though and I would recommend it for those kids. Overall, cute and fun for a preschooler.

I knew this game was going to be bad before I even played it but I still rented it for my cousin anyway. You pick a Diva Starz character and they have to get to the mall. The first level is a scooter level where all you do is press A to collect items, this level takes about 20 seconds. Then once you get to the mall there are 5 levels. A maze where you have to find your dog which took me 15 seconds to finish. There's an ice cream shop puzzle where you have to get the ice cream sundae from one plate and transfer it to another. This was the most complicated event, I think it took me close to a minute to finish. There is also a fashion shop level where you pick what outfit you want your character to wear, this can take as little as 10 seconds to finish. And there is a shopping bag level where you toss either sunglasses into shopping bags. This level takes about 30 seconds to finish. Once you complete these levels, there is a 10 second fashion show showing your character walking down the walkway. Finally, there is a music shop level where you push the buttons and directional pad when it tells you to. This takes about 40 seconds to finish. That's it, the game is over. I timed how long it took me to finish the game. Including menu screens it took me just under 5 minutes to complete the game. Now you are supposed to play the game with each Diva Starz character but it's the same game all over again 4 times. Even if you did that, it takes less than 20 minutes to officially complete the game. Now if that's not bad enough, say you really want to complete the game with each character but you only want to complete it with one character each time you play. Well, you better get a pad of paper and a pencil ready because keep track of your progress you are given a 12 digit password which not only has to be written down but re-entered every time you want to get back to where you were. This is very unreasonable especially because it is a kids game. Even if the girl who you were going to buy this for is a huge fan of the Diva Starz, I really suggest not getting this game unless you consider the 5 minutes of possible fun worth the overly expensive cost of a Gameboy Color game.

Short yet funJul 06, 2002
I thought that this game was fun at first but then when I got towards the middle I was getting board. This is not a very good game if you are used to adventure, but if you like quick games it is good

Good on the computer, but.....Jul 26, 2004
I have this game on the computer and it's really fun. I just think that it would be VERY hard to play on a gameboy because it's so small.
