1Burst Limit LImitedAug 07, 2010
I bought this game trying to get into a good fighting game, not only is it the worst fighting game ever, it may be one of the worst games I have ever played. A lot of people like to say that games "cheat", but this one really does. The fighting system is completely unfair, and unbalanced. And your cpu opponent's have a way of magically restoring most of their health when they are about to be defeated. This game personally forever ruined DBZ for me. I can't even watch it because I hate this game so much. Even my girlfriend and avid DBZ lover says this game is crap. Don't buy it.

3Not Really true to the Source MaterialAug 04, 2010
Dragon Ball Z is one of my favorite shows, I have been a fan for a while, but the games they have churned out are always lacking it seems to me. The Ps2 games were hit and miss, and the ps3 games seem to be the same, Will write a review for the Raging Blast which is hopefully better then this disappointment of a game. I rented it, and I have to say I have no desire to purchase it, Have played for one day and am almost through the game entirely, Also their are no earth shattering moments, even the strongest attacks seem to be extremely lack luster, and do not damage the environments at all. In some of the previous games the environments changed after the battles, If you used Veggeta's Final Blast the arena was destroyed, no such attacks so far, and that may be because this game only goes to the cell saga. This game is not amazing, it will entertain you for a short while, but probably only if your a die hard dbz fan.

If your a fan of Dragon Ball Z, which you are I am guessing if your reading reviews for this game you understand the size and scope of the attacks, it was what made the show stand out, the kicking people through three mountains, the blasts that took out half the country side, I have been playing and when the cut scene shows a player getting thrown from the sky into the ground, it has been the same generic action over and over, they do not change based on the strength, Goku's regular super move is the same as his ultimate move, which is lame if you ask me, Their is no earth shattering action which is what made the tv show so amazing, the action in the game is the same if first fight as well as the last. I hope that they step up their game, because this is a huge back-step compared to some of the ps2 games which incorporated a lot more action and degree's of attack.

I would look at the other newer game, before this one, and if you must I would rent this you will be done with it in a day and then you can move onto newer better games.

3Pretty LookingJul 01, 2010
I read a lot before purchasing this game, couldn't decide between Raging Blast or Burst Limit, in the reviews ppl said this one was better by a mile, and maybe it is, but the lack of depth of this game is a major letdown. It has few characters and its only like 5 hours to get thru story mode, i know is a fighting game, but DGBZ has a great and long sagas and they could have taken more advantage of that, tho the ones included here are managed GREAT!.

If you are really a huge Dragon Ball fan like myself, buy it, if no, then get some Street Fighter =)

This is a fun fighting game. it is a excellent DBZ game, yet the game is way too short, and there are some annoying intermissions.

5A Must Get!Jun 18, 2010
So i got this game never played it before on Xbox 360 sense we got rid of our PS2 awhile back because Sony sucks. But i did use to play DBZ Budaki or what ever it was and i loved that i could sit playing it for days even by my self and so i just now started to miss DBZ and so i bought it and i played it got all the characters. then after that i went to play at my best friends house and we were playing Nazi Zombies and I said..." Hey bro you wanna try this new DBZ game I got?" And he said sure so i popped it in and we played NON STOP we got so good we were neck and neck! yes the combos and everything are easy but because of the simplicity of the action and how intense and long the battles were we couldn't stop we stayed up tell like 9 AM playing this to see who was better!
