4What's with the bad reviews guys?Not bad at all.Jan 04, 2001

This game has gotten so much flak from so many people its amazing.I love wrestling and wrestling games and honestly, this game is everything i wanted. The only downpoints are the graphics, they look really good but sometimes clip, this didnt bother me but if you nit pick it might bother you. There are also so many options and things you can do.You can create your own wrestler and this game has the best create aan athlete of any game, ever. You can customize everything from eyes down to shoe color, from tattoos to hair styles, its just awesome. Then there are all the options and match styles. In what other game can you have a co operative tag team match with weapons?None that ive played. Also theres cage matches, harsh barbed wire matches, etc, etc.A lot of people say the controlls are bad and old, but i personally think they work fine for the game once you get them down, and the moves are just downright brutal looking. If you like wrestling games, check this out,i love it.

1DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$Jun 27, 2000

After purchasing NFL 2K, NBA 2K and Ready 2 Rumble, and being completely blown away by the impressive graphics, sound and interactivity that the Sega Dreamcast has to offer...

I thought, "Boy, wouldn't it be fun to have four buddies over for some hardcore wrestling action - 2-on-2 style... we could beat the crap outta' each other without the usual waking up with open wounds and stitches the next morning."

Well, I might as well have stuffed a money in the middle of a slab of ground sirloin and tossed it into my nextdoor rottweiller's playpen. This game is unarguably the biggest waste of your hard-earned dollar in the Dreamcast market. Three words - DON'T BUY IT.

The animation looks like the designers had 24 hours to complete all the sequences, and they did so just after gulping down a 12-pack of beer a piece. The sound effects are out of sync, the voiceovers are, well, STUPID - there's no other way to describe them. The moves are - well, I can't figure them out and, personally, the game is SO bad, I don't care to take the time.

I am not a big wrestling fan, but if I were, I'd consider this "waste-of-time game" to be a mockery of the sport. Acclaim has really let me down here - I will definitely do some research before purchasing another one of their games.

4Good Solid Wrestling Game....Not Great but very good.Mar 02, 2000

ECW Hardcore Revolution for the Dreamcast is a worthy addition to your library if you are a wrestling fan. The graphics are good, the sound is very good even though the actual wrestler's entrance themes were not in the game, but the music sounds similar to the real themes. The list of wrestlers is quite extensive and the gameplay modes are the same. The wrestler entrances are pretty good, but there are a few wrestlers that have a goofy awkward walk. Some of my gripes are Sandman is not in the game, it is very hard to unlock wrestlers such as Taz, i wish they had entrances during the hardcore, cage, and barb wire match, and I think the Career mode needs some redoing. Overall I liked the game, it is basically the same game at heart as WWF Attitude, but if you are are a wrestling fan I suggest you pick this game up....you will have a good time playing it.

2DON'T BUY THIS GAMEOct 29, 2000
By Eric Shuster
I bought "ECW Hardcore Revolution" back in December hoping that it would live up to all of its hype. I thought that it would be as cool as the actual ECW wrestling. Geez, was I wrong! This game is basically like "WWF Attitude" (Which was also horrible) but with ECW wrestlers. The moves are the same, the entrances are the same, and the weopons are th same. This is so boring!
