5IncredibleNov 21, 2001
By sherrie doyle
This game is absoloutly astonishing. I have good connections (lets just say) and I have played this game. It absoloutly amazed me. It was incredible what this little baby could do. The sound was clear, fun, and good. The graphics were incredibly smooth for a 3D handheld game and were very detailed. The gameplay was as if they had taken golden eye copied it and slapped it into the advance! And you could play this over and over until you die its that entertaining and challenging!

5WOW! WOW!!Oct 20, 2002
By The Fentoozler "new_jersey_hillbilly"
THIS GAME IS AMAZING. I looked at these reviews on Amazon.com but I was still a little unsure. I got the game. Opened the package, picked ecks and started playing. IT IS AMAZING. The gun in front of you is like Gamecube graphics. The rest of the graphics are like N64 graphics in the first 007 on it.But for a gameboy? All I can say is WOW! It's fully panoramic and first person, there is strafing, opening doors. Running up stairs, hidden elavators and vent, like 20 guns, crouching, a very good plot, story, fun missions, 12 levels able to be done with either ecks or sever, (each has a different thing to do. Example: Ecks: chase Sever and don't lose sight. Sever:make sure Ecks doesn't follow.)
which makes it like 24 levels, and fun. IT IS AN AMAZING GAME

4WOW!What a fun game!Jan 23, 2002

Let me begin by saying this:Ecks vs.Sever is undoubtably the best fps out for gameboy advance. This game is simple, fun, solid and just plain enjoyable for anyone craving some shooting action on the go.Games like Evs.S are why I bought a GBA!The graphics to E.vs.S are very nice clean and animated smoothly(although it is a bit pixy up close). The enemies are well designed and easy to recognise on GBAs small screen as well as tough. The cool thing about E.vs.S is the crossover between the charecters, for example:one point in the game you have to snip sever, but when you play as sever you must avoid becoming snipped.Eks vs.Sever is a SUPERB GBA title and should not be missed by any shooting fan.

5Astonishing game...takes the prize for best FPS on gbaDec 13, 2001
By Jonez
I bought the first FPS for gba, Backtrack, and it was really dissapointing. Controls were bad, plot was bad, gfx were bad, just about everything about it was bad. I had doubts about whether or not Ecks vs. Sever would be any better. But I decided to buy this game at (...) (last one they had) after reading the description which had a captiving plotline and the gfx were very nice. This is a bang up game. You can't get any better than this (except maybe AI multiplayer). The government agents and guards that you shoot all are nicely animated. Tons of weapon choices unlike some other FPS (doom and backtrack), you will have one helluva fun time shooting (...) people. I can't wait till my friends get it so I can play multiplayer with them and finally see what it is like to play a FPS game on gba with other people (I've always dreamed of it). This game rocks. If you want one all around excellent game, buy this game. I have around 20 gba games and this is by far the best one right beside Golden Sun. Buy this game.

5A must have!Jul 01, 2002
By Tarisa L. Scelfo
Let me tell you, this game is defenatly worth the 30 bucks! I have to say I was VERY sceptical about buying a first person,
3-D game for such a small system, but WOW, I'm now a beleiver! I would have to say the only three things I dislike about this game is the fact that the enemies are a little fuzzy, but nothing to cry over. Second, the story that comes after every mission you beat is all words, no pictures, and the words go by awfully fast. And third, you cannot save your game, you must remember a pasword for the level your at in order to continue that level. On the other hand the framerate (or how fast the game moves) is great, no slow downs even when your fighting like ten guys at once! The sound is also very good all the grunts and groans almost sound real, and guns sound real as well. Probably my favorite aspect of the game is that the missions are not just typical kill every one and you win missions, they have complexity such as assainations and excaping bombs. You also have MANY MANY different guns to choose from such as M-16 and grenade launchers. Also If your worried about the graphics being bad their not, I think their wonderful (well for a game boy)and if you look at the screen shots when you click the picture of the game, its about how good the graphics are in real life! The controling takes some getting used to if you play alot of first person games with joy sticks like on N-64 because as you know game boy has the arrow pad. Personaly i think the controling on this game is easy and I come from an N-64! All in all I have to say this is my all time favorite game for GBA and I'd say its a must have for any one who likes first person games.
