By Rainbowsntrees This is a wonderful game that provides hours of challenge. You create your own choreography, allowing you to choose the difficulty and thus achieve mastery. What I found most notable is the incredible variety of moves that you learn as you progress through the story. You will tap, spin, trace, balance, sequence, outline, draw lines, use breath, etc. You have 12 opponents to face and a choice of six music genres. As you complete each level in story mode, gymnastic and dance challenges are unlocked. This is a game well worth the money spent.

Great fun for all ages.Jan 05, 2010

I bought this game after playing Ener-g Gym Rockets and I loved it! The instructions are real simple to learn. Your goal is to become a international champion in a dance competition. You have to beat 12 opponents to win. The game starts off really easy and as you progress like any game it will get more difficult.
During game play you mainly use the stylus and at times (depending on which routine you pick) you will have to blow in the microphone. If you have a hard time beating an opponent that just means you may have to use more advanced moves to get you more points. You can custom your clothes, hair color, ribbon and ball that you use during your dance routines. You also can custom your own dance moves by doing your own choreography. The music in the game does get a bit irritating at times. And the only thing I really didn't like about the game is that it's too short. It didn't take me long to beat it. But it's a lot of fun and worth the money I paid for it. I recommend it to all ages.

Great Game!Jul 25, 2011

I'm a 21 year old college student who loves to dance in my free time. So my sister bought me this game as a birthday gift. I didn't think I'd like it at first because it looked childish, but don't let the cover fool you. I've enjoyed this game a lot!
Pros:
*Great graphics *Easy enough to follow plot with a twist, yet *Challenging enough to keep you playing & entertained for a while *Ability to choose your own sequence of pre-choreographed moves & review before each competition *Ability to customize your character's costume, hair color, & ribbon or ball color *Fast-paced and energetic (as the name suggests) *Good combination of simple & harder moves to perform with the stylus and sometimes the mic *Good number of opponents to beat (12) *Good variety of music styles (rock/pop, rap, classical, etc) *"Fury Mode": if you're already close to winning, but not quite there & your dance meter fills up enough, your character will automatically jump into the air & launch into Fury Mode for extra points. With the ball, you have to roll it around and touch the pink stars to make them disappear, and with the ribbon you have to tap the big pink star as many times as you can before it disappears, then it explodes and you touch all the tiny stars to make them disappear.
Cons:
*You can't see your opponents' performance *The opponents are relatively easy to beat, up till around #8 or so. Then the motions you have to perform and the dots you have to touch that cross the screen become much faster, confusing, and harder to follow. I found my final opponent #12 incredibly difficult to beat until after several prolonged tries. I suggest this sequence or similar, as it seemed to be the best point-earner & easiest to get me close to beating her: Wheat, Reed, Orchid, Lotus, Pink Star, Oak. *Almost all the opponents, except for a couple, will make fun of you horribly. I can deal with it because it's just a game, but younger kids playing the game might not feel that way. *Because of the fast pace and the difficulty level to beat the more advanced opponents, I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone under 10 yrs. I think it would be too frustrating, but that's just me.
I hope that's been helpful to you. All in all, a pretty good game. I'd recommend it!
