Nostalgic AwesomenessJul 27, 2010 Definitely worth the buy if you have ever played the old Final Fantasy 2 on Super Nintendo, Or Chrono Trigger two of the best RPG's ever to come out of that generation. This version of Final Fantasy 4 is not the same as the one released all those years ago on Super NES. This version in the pack is the ACTUAL version of the game. The story is virtually the same but because it is a true translation of the original Japanese version ALOT, and I mean ALOT of the dialogue that I remember is different. Playing this version of the game will be a very different experience than you remember from the classic. And if you never played the original and are looking for an oldie but goodie, this is definitely one for you. Plays on my PS2 just fine.
Very coolApr 07, 2010 One of my favorite games as a kid was Chrono Trigger. This version is just as fun as the original. Great story, great gameplay, and great sound design.
I'd never played Final Fantasy IV until I bought this pack. FFIV has become one of my favorite Final Fantasy games. The story is excellent, with good character development along the way. It's really a fun game and wish I had been able to play this game as a kid.
smexMar 16, 2010 I don't really want to type much. But if people badly rate this, their tard's, 'nuff said. I mean chrono trigger is epic, and so is final fantasy four! I gotta love my chrono and Cecil combo!
A Classic!Feb 10, 2010 I played many hours of Chrono Trigger as a kid. To get my hands on this game brought back a lot of old memories.
I should note, that I give this game 5 stars for what it was and what it is. It is a great story, and while the graphics and combat system are a bit dated, still quite enjoyable. This is an excellent game for those wanting to get aqainted with how things were "back in the day" of mid 90's gaming. Being able to see anime clips that further detail the story is a great bonus.
Also: I have not played FFIV, so can't comment on that part.
CLASSIC!!!!Feb 03, 2010 I have played these two games many times with my son and grandson. We love them both. I have the PS one games. My grandson has the FF IV game for his Nintendo. We also have all the other FF and Chrono Cross games. If you want old-school rpg this is a good choice.
