It's for kids!Nov 01, 2004
By Allison I was a little nervous about buying this for my 5 year old son because of the reviews on here. But I'm glad I did it anyway. It is tailored just right for him! Yes the minefield was hard. When he would get frustrated he'd ask me to help him. Same with the Shark chase. But both levels I made him overcome it on his own and he did! It took about 30 minutes for him to pass the Bruce shark chase. I like that it was a challenge. Usually when we buy games based on cute commercial character's they end up boring, or too easy. My son owns 4 games for his gameboy and this is the one his friends like to play when they borrow it.

Finding NemoAug 19, 2003
I just got this game a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. The graphics are really detailed and interesting. The first level you need to get to school, the second level you need to find your classmates, the third you need to catch up with Dory, and the forth you need to get to Bruce. (that's as far as I got) The only thing I don't like about it is the difficulty. Assuming that mostly younger kids would play this (except me), I think it is to hard for them. I'm 16 and I still haven't made it past level four. The other thing I don't like is how many things you need to do in each level. On level four, there are three different things you need to do before passing to the next level. You need to make it past the minefield, then you need to go through a sort of maze flipping switches to open doors. Then you need to avoid Bruce. Be warned; this game can get frustrating.

Great but challenging...Apr 03, 2004
In the game you play as two different characters; nemo and marlin. You have to get past many different obstacles in each level, and passwords are given each time a level is passed, if you want to be able to go back to that same level. I found that the game had great graphics, and the music was neat, but it was a little hard for younger children. You see, my sister got this game, she's seven, and could only get past the first two levels. The rest I had to beat if she wanted to play them.Pros: -Great Graphics, very detailed and clear -Great Sound -Challenging; you won't beat the game the day after you get it. Cons: -Can be too hard for children around 7 and under, otherwise it is a good difficulty level -Some levels get a bit frustrating, you have to wonder around trying to finish -The levels often make you do the same thing over and over, can get a bit dull Overall it is a great game if you are older and up to the challenge, but definetly do not buy for younger children, it will be way to hard. Even I had troubles with some of the parts, and I'm older.

Great game!Apr 10, 2004
My son received this game for his fifth birthday. It is a great game. He has lots of fun playing it. You alternate between being Nemo and Marlin. Some of the levels are a little too hard for him and he needs some help to get past them, but overall I think it is a great game and not too hard, even for my young son. I also enjoy playing it, so it is great for multiple players in the household!

A cool game!!!Jul 11, 2003
I really liked the game i got it just for fun. I like the "Drop Off" the best because it is fun to find Nemo's classmates. I think the graphic's are great and the music is really soothing. Even my mom and older sister liked it. "Finding Nemo" is not that hard and is perfect for childeran. The game is great for taking your mind off all the bad stuff happening today. In addition to playing the game i think you should watch the movie.
