4Short, but fun, and a funny game too!Oct 25, 2001
By Mark E. Summers "Gamekrazy"
The Floigan Brothers is a game that you can't take too seriously or you're just not going to enjoy it. It's hardly anything more than an interactive cartoon and taken that way, it certainly worked for me. The story is mostly ludicrous, the game play is short, and the area of play is small, but still, I enjoyed this game.

In the game, you control Hoigle, who must help his brother Moigle gather the seven parts he needs to complete a secret device he is building in the garage. During the game, you must have Moigle help you access areas that are inaccessible by doing different things, including making him happy, angry, sad, and by playing games with him.

The games you play with Moigle get somewhat repetitive after a while and can slow the game play down. I recommend teaching him to play catch as soon as possible since it's one of the quicker games and pays one of the most amount of points, which Hoigle needs to accumulate to teach Moigle different things. The different games you play with Moigle are High Five, Tag, Hide And Seek, Catch, and the Running Game. The Running Game you can't learn until late in the game and I've never been able to beat Moigle at it, although there must be a way to do so. I guess I just can't figure it out.

As you interact with different things in the junkyard, you'll be able to teach Moigle more skills, although there is one thing I haven't been able to teach him. That's what keeps drawing me back into the game, trying to accomplish the tasks that I haven't been able to solve yet, although I've already beaten the game. Try it for yourself, if you like cartoons, I think you'll like this too. Just don't pay too much for this game, its replay value is fairly low and it shouldn't take much more than six hours or so to beat it. Still though, you should enjoy those six hours.

5***A great game that will catch your attention***May 28, 2002
By Frank Thomas Isolani
This game is great.
I bought it for my three year old son and he loved it.
The graphics are excellent.
It's like playing a cartoon or the Sundays funnies.
It even got me hooked. You can't help but fall in love with the two main charcters, Hoigle and Moigle.
The game has 13 junkyard areas and dozens of minigames. The game also teaches team work so if your looking for a family game you found it in Flogian Brothers.

4Great but short in contentSep 20, 2001
By pankaj
Well firstly I would like to say that this is a great game but it could have been greater if it hadn't been so short.I'm noticing in some cases that when Sega comes up with great games, those games fall short in content. The likes of crazy taxi,18wheeler,coaster works and this game can be cited as examples in that context.I beat this game in a little over 2 hrs
This game is about two brothers, moigle and hoigle.you control hoigle.moigle wants to build a secret project and for that he needs your help to find seven items. As you find the items, you also get the chance to play fun games with moigle like high five, hide&seek etc. or teach moigle new skills.Graphically this game is really beautiful.the cartoon animations are wonderful, utilizing DC's 128bit power.voice acting of both the brothers is top notch, music is good.and what to say about the humor?it's the most humorous game i've played.plenty of humorous stuff to make you laugh.
The only letdown is the content, which is short. So if you don't have problems with short games,go ahead and buy one of the most visually appealing and hilarious games to come to dreamcast.

3It May Be Fun, But I STILL Think It Should Have Been Longer!Sep 05, 2001
By Kevin T. Rodriguez "The Movie Wizard.com Reviewer"
Floigan Brothers: Episode 1 is was strange, weird, funny, clever, and brillient game. I don't know how many times I broke out laughing, but it was quite a few times(Those movie spoofs don't hurt either). I was having fun, untill after about an hour (Mabye a little more) I had beaten it! ...This game was shorter then The Bouncer (And in case you didn't know, that games about 90 minutes long)! I still recomend it, just don't be expecting this to keep you busy for the week because it won't (Unless you take your VERY sweet time in compleating this!).

5Short...but oh so sweet....Aug 03, 2001
By Brett
With amazing graphics, original gameplay, and plenty of humor to have you busting at the seams, the seamingly only downside to this game is how unfortunatley short it is. But, if you are up for a great game, and in a humourous mood, this game is for you.
