Roads and rivers can be dangerous places when you're a little amphibian trying to get home! The original arcade hit FROGGER comes to Game Boy Color. You must guide the little green guy across a street, over a river, and into the safety of his home. But you're crossing a highway in the middle of rush hour, so you'd better watch out for speedy cars and trucks that look to flatten you. Once you cross the street, you'll have to get across the river, which is filled with floating logs. Some of those logs are crocodiles though, so be careful you don't end up as someone's midday snack. You'll also have to look out for snakes and turtles, which can also ruin your day. Along the way, you can gobble up some flies and rescue other frogs to earn some extra points. As the game progresses traffic moves faster, the river rages harder, and everything gets a lot more dangerous! FROGGER is compatible with all existing Game Boy systems.

I like the gameJun 29, 2000
Well I really liked this game. I own the Atari version too and loved it since I was a kid. But the only bad part of the GBC version is that its repeditive its always the same. Its fun for the first couple of says you own it but after a while it get dull and boring. I still play it but I'd rather play the Atari version just because its better. Yes thats what I said, a 1970's game is better then the 1990's version of the same thing.
I have to say if I was maybe 6 or 7 this game would be awsome. But since I am 14 its dull. So if your young or just really bored get this, because its fun for you. But if you are 11 or over don't waste your money.

A little boring but coolDec 09, 1999
Frogger to my point of veiw was pretty boring but kind of fun at the same time. The boring part was the point of the game. All you have to do is avoid cars and get to the other side but it is really chalenging. I got really disappointed when I got it and I started playing it. There is barely any moves or anything. I could of bought something better. But if you like startegy games Frogger would be a great game for you!

Fun Game, from a 15 yr old!Oct 31, 2000
I didn't buy this game for fast paced adventure (as some reviewers seemed to), I bought it for a game that I could pick up and play and HAVE FUN! Anyone who wants a fun car (or bus !) game should certainly buy this. The only other thing I could want in this game is more difficulty levels to add to the replay value, but I still love it!

DON'T BUY FROGGER!Jun 15, 2000
This game [is terrible]! At first it seemed like it was going to be a good game dodging alligators and hopping on lillipads...But it only has 5 levels and there all almost exactly the same. And the graphics are bad plus it's[too much] for five minutes of good gameplay.

OK gameOct 10, 2001
By An 11-year old gamer This game is fun, but the levels are a lot the same, except they get harder! The object of the game is to get five frogs across a busy highway with fast moving cars, and cross a river filled with snakes, crocodiles, and diving turtles while staying within the time limit. You can also collect extra points as you go. I would recommend this game if you want to play something that doesn't take a lot of strategy!
