"Hamtaro Forever!"
this game may be cute, but it's qute fun, the target audience is kinda fuzzy, but I know it's not male 16 year olds, (me) but I find the game (and anime series) to be very addictive, I'm sure you will too

Hard at first........Dec 18, 2005
Hamtaro: Ham Ham games is a very good game for people who like sports but don't want to use all their energy. In the game you get to be Hamtaro and you go through the whole town place and go to different sports games. Somtimes you work on a team, sometimes you don't even play as Hamtaro. It's very fun when you first get it, but after a while you get borded because it got so easy. I have the game and I won like 20 times....I got it last Christmas. It was hard at first but then I was playing it every day.....so much that I practically memorized the game! I got bored but sometimes I go back and play it. The other bad thing is that you only can have one file......so if your siblings want to play without messing up your file, they can't because there's only one file. But overall it is a pretty fun game.

Different, But Fun!Dec 28, 2004
By The Pretty Purple Pikachu I got this game as a gift for Christmas, and I couldn't have been more excited. I am a huge fan of the Hamtaro Gameboy games, and this one is no exception! It is very different from the other two, however. Unlike the other games, this is more of an arcade-style game than an RPG, although it still has many aspects of an RPG in the storyline. The main point of this game is to win the Ham Ham Games Tournament by your team having the most gold medals. Once you win the first tournament, you can also collect "hamigo cards" from the other hamsters. Collecting all the cards is actually quite challenging, and adds to the RPG aspect of this game. The graphics are much better, but the areas to explore are not as detailed, nor is there as much to do outside of the main storyline. Unfortunately, for me at least, you still have to play as Hamtaro; you don't get to choose your main character. In this game you don't even get to choose your player's name; everyone calls you Hamtaro no matter what name you gave yourself on your player's card. Also, this game is a bit too repetitive for my tastes, because you don't get to go anywhere new after you win the tournament, or unlock new games. When you play the tournament over again, the teams don't change, or even improve their skills. However, despite these flaws, this is still a fun game. The tournament games are addictive, I'll admit, and there is still enough of a challenging mystery aspect to the game to make it like the others. The new characters and interesting varieties of music (by the way, in this game each place doesn't have its own music, there is a consantly playing "soundtrack" of ever-changing songs that plays no matter where you go)make this game a must-have for any Hamtaro fan!

The Olympics with a twist ...Sep 02, 2004
By Blazin' Red Dragon I fell in love with Hamtaro when I bought a used Ham-hams Unite game. I fell in love with the cute characters and the fun plot of the game. Pikachu move over bcuz there's a cuter creature in town. At first I was uncertain of whether I should buy the Ham-Ham Game bcuz the price to me was a little outrageous bcuz the first time I saw it in a store it was $40 bucks and I'm no penny pincher but I usually don't spend no more than $20 on a game. But I just bought the Ham-Ham race today for $30 bucks and was a little guilty of spending that much but when I got it home and played it ... IT WAS WELL WORTH IT !!! The characters are even cuter than the first hamtaro game. They've got some new characters as well like the DJungle, Rainbow team, and these adorable little baby hamster who fly and have pacifiers in their mouths. If I remember correctly they're called the Bo Bunch Babies or something like that. But they were so adorable. The game can keep you occupied for hours and not to mention it's somewhat educational bcuz you develop coordination, timing, and patience. Not to mention the sportsmanship of trying your best to win at the games like swimming, running, volleyball, etc. Kids would learn to give it their all and if they lose sometimes it's okay and to just try harder the next time. I think even at the high price it's sold at ... it's worth it and probably gonna keep you or your kids whoever will be playing this game occupied for hours. I know it did for me. Definitely a cute game and cute characters too.

TUNE IN TO THESE GAMES - BETTER THAN THE OLYMPICS!!Aug 11, 2004
By Hamming It Up At least I know I can compete in Ham Ham Games...they are so cute to watch, and will keep me busy during the Olympics (boring). By the way, I'm 38 years old, have no kids, and I love the Hamtaro characters! I would recommend this neat game with the colorful screens and creative game play. Excellent entertainment for a low price!
