Go with Mario Kart Instead!Jan 22, 2010
By AmazonFan Even though this has a nice looking screen, the only 2 games we play are Battleship and Connect Four. We like the Battleship and will keep it only as a replacement for the board game. The Operation game is very difficult and frustrating for BOTH young and old...Bop It is a quick bore...and we don't even consider the other game. On the other hand, Mario Kart is a BLAST for the whole family! Over and over again we have Mario Tournaments in which the whole family laughs and laughs at the tricks and bumps along the race tracks. If not for Battleship, this game would have been returned.

Only fun for a fewFeb 02, 2010
By Bono Only battleship and connect four are any fun. Operation is impossible and bop it is boring. My 4&5 yr old even got bored quickly with it. Battleship is pretty fun but the rest of the game is a waste.

By Knight I bought this game for my nephew, before we even left Christmas night he already had the game out and was playing it with the other cousins. It is a great game that kids of all ages can play together.

By Whitney Strohmeyer I bought this game because I loved played the board game version of Battleship as as a child. I took it to my little cousins house and played with them for hours. Everyone liked it so much that I bought both of the older children a copy so that everyone could play whenever they wanted. That was a year ago and we still play it together often and I play it alone at home all the time. The graphics and special play modes, such as "superweapons", are great.
The other games are also very fun Connect 4 is a classic from many peoples childhood as well but Connect 4 bores me after a while. Bop It is pretty fun as well. It goes faster the better you get and is very addicting. Operation is a little hard. You have to follow a path with an object that is constantly spinning in circles and occasionally expands and contracts. It frustrates me a little but could also become a very addicting game.
Overall, this is probably the top game for the two children, aged 11 and 8, and my second favorite game. It is a great game for the whole family and you can ever pass the DS around to play with multiple players.
