Short and Easy but Still FunJun 28, 2009 I'm a hardcore gamer, and I just got this game because when I was in about third grade I was a mega Hot Wheels fan, owning about 200 die-cast cars, which a lot of girls my age didn't do. It used to be a little fun and challenging, now it's more short and easy. Since I still have the game, I play two-player with my sister just to settle things sometimes, but I would definitely recommend it for 5-11 year olds. The graphics are cool and the different locations make it that much more fun.

OK, but a little too hard for the younger playersFeb 15, 2008 I got this game for my son when he was five. He loved the first few chapters, whether he won or not. Unfortunately, in order to move through the chapters, you have to win, and it's amazingly hard for the younger audience to win these challenges. Some of the rules are so difficult even for an adult to understand. I can't image a kid understanding.
While fun and flashy, and certainly loud, this game really misses the audience. Kids who are into hot wheels probably can't play this at the level you need in order to succeed. Because of this, my son lost interest after only a few game plays.
I've tried to advance the levels for him, but the challenges get progressively harder, to the point where he doesn't really enjoy it at all. As much as I enjoyed playing this game WITH him, it became mostly him playing it until he was frustrated with failure and handing me the controls to play it FOR him.

GREAT KIDS GAMEJan 29, 2007 I bought this game for my 5 year old son. He and his 3 year old brother love it. It is simple enough that he can easily manage to play most of the levels and do well. The audio is exciting to listen to and the graphics are great. The three of us have spent a great deal of time playing this together and we absolutly love it.
