Boutique Owner (Cool Game)Jun 06, 2009
By Rachel Reese In the game Imagine Boutique Owner you play as the character named Kate who owns the shop.
In the game you get to help the customers look for the items they want (you got to remember where all the items are by walking around the shop) and then sell it to them if it is the item they are looking for.
You get to sell many things in the shop such as: 1)books, 2)music cds, 3)perfumes, 4) toys and games, 5) candy, chocolate, and cakes, 6) plants and different types of flowers, and 7) jewelry (bracelets, watches, rings)
In the game you can also create our own items such as: flower bouquets, perfume, cakes, and stuffed animals, but only when a customer requests it.
The game is composed of ten different chapters where they give you a couple different missions in each chapter that you need to complete before you can move on to the next chapter, it also gives you a Chapter 11 which I think is the free play chapter in which it still gives you missions to complete after you finish/beat the game.
You can also decorate the shop by choosing different colored floors and rearranging it the way you like it.
Overall I think is a cool game and recommend it to people you like the Imagine Series games just like I do.

Fun and addicting!Jun 10, 2009
By Jocelyn P. I just got this game yesterday and it's super fun and very very addicting. I have not put the game down since I got it. The whole idea of the game is to help customers find gifts around the store. The game sort of tests your memory when you have to find specific gifts around the store. You can also play as cashier and do giftwrap. You can use your creativity by making your own cakes, perfume, stuffed animals, jewelry and bouquets. This is my first Imagine game and it's super fun!

My favorite Imagine game!Aug 27, 2009
As soon as I saw the preview for this game, I knew I HAD to have it! So eventually, my parents got it for me, and I've been addicted to it ever since!
You start out as this girl named Kate, who inherits her father's store, a small little boutique in town. At first, it is very small, but it's a lot of fun to help the customers out. Once you complete your goals, (like selling 5 pastries or helping out the celebrity, Ashley) you'll be offered new ones and your store will slowly expand into more areas, like a jewelery shop, and a flower shop.
While retrieving the the right item for your customers is surprisingly fun, it's even more fun to make your own cakes, perfumes, necklaces, even stuffed animals- and give them to the customer. You have to follow certain instructions, (such as there has to have the color red in it, but it has to be chocolate flavored) but it's still highly customizable, and it's very amusing to come up with strange new combinations. Also, you always get to sign something. You could put your own signature, or you could put "Kate," but I usually draw little pictures.
What's also fun is that you can man the cash register yourself, or have your cashier do it. But I usually do it myself because it's a fun mini-game. Anyway, the customers will also sometimes ask you to wrap up what they bought, and the way you wrap it is surprisingly accurate. It's also fun to choose the paper and the bow. You can also change the floor color, (well, really just the shade: light, medium, or dark of whatever color the floor is) and you choose where to display things.
Also, there's a surprisingly amusing storyline, and you actually have a competitor!
The only drawback is that you are always doing assignments, which means staying in one part of your boutique only, trying to sell a certain item. Yep, no "free mode." But, there is no time limit to complete a task, so I usually just ignore the tasks and do my own thing, since I have already beat the game.
All in all, this is a great game, and by far the best imagine game I've ever played. (And I've played quite a few) So, if your thinking that you shouldn't buy this game because it might not be worth it, take it from me: BUY IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Fun at first but then gets pretty boring...Aug 04, 2009
When I first got this game, I wasnt able to put it down!I kept playing and I kept unlocking new parts of the shop and new tables where you could create your own things. You play as Kate, the shop keeper. She gets the shop from her grandfather and finnally owns it.The shop kept growing in size. It had a flower shop, a toy shop, a candy/cake shop, a jewelry shop and a shop that had various things, too. The game is divided in chapters. In each you have some "sections" which you have to sell an specific amount of things and attend to a celebrity, etc. That got boring after a while. When you pass a chapter you get some dialogues. I played this game for three days and at the third day I couldnt stand the game. All you had to do was attend to costumers, attend to costumers and attend to more costumers. And if you didn't attend to costumers in a specific amount of time, their patience ends and they go to another shop. The fact that the shop starts growing and you can get lost the first time in it pretty much helps in lowering the patience of your costumers. Creating your own stuff is cool. You can create your own bouquets, necklaces, cakes, stuffed animals and perfumes. Sometimes, the costumer will tell you the color they want your creation to be and sometimes they'll just leave it up to you. When you create things, its always like a tutorial. You have to go slow and step by step and that got boring, too. I don't even want to end the game anymore. I read the reviews here and expected an amazing game where you could get costumer per costumer and attend to them, get orders by phone and create YOUR things. Like design the head of the stuffed animal, the colour of its fur, which animal... but when I got it I was disappointed with this game. I have other Imagine games and this one is really not that good. :( Thank you for reading this review, and its not a lie, it really gets boring.
