An Absolute Joy!!!Mar 14, 2009
By Aaron P. Harmon LocoRoco 2 is an absolute blast. This game is addictive, easily accessible and a joy for all ages. If you have played the first LocoRoco, the mechanics have not changed. The controls remain seductively simple and for the most part, the difficulty scales appropriately. As others have mentioned, there is a new stage select system. It is less sterile, more organic than the menu in the first game. While it takes a little getting used to, I find it an improvement that adds to the overall feel of the game. Additionally, there are several new mini games which offer a break from the traditional platform game. They are a very welcome addition and serve to break up the action a bit. My personal favorite is the Mui Mui House. As you play through the games stages, you collect items which allow you to build and furnish a house for all the Mui Muis that you rescue! For example, it takes 3 specific items to build a guitar. Once it's in your house, a Mui Mui will pick it up and play it. As he does so, you can hear a guitar added to the soundtrack. As silly as this sounds, it is incredibly fun and rewarding.
I have heard LocoRoco described as the happiest game ever and I could not agree more. It is hard not to smile while you are playing it. : )

Blobs of FunFeb 14, 2009
By Jerry P. Danzig One of the most brilliant games on the PSP is back for a second helping, and it does NOT disappoint. Really, this is one of those PSP games that will have your unit shutting off because you didn't notice how long you had been playing and how low your battery is running. Like its predecessor, LR2 is a classic because it is so simple to learn and easy to control, yet you need skill and practice to pick up all the berries, mui muis, and other bonuses. Apparently there aren't as many worlds in this sequel as in the original game, but there are more goals to achieve in each world, including collecting and playing musical notes. There are also new minigames, including some sort of jousting game with ad hoc multiplayer support. Game levels and graphics, plus the variety of game play, are again inspired. LR2 is quite simply a must-have for PSP owners, and one of the most exciting exclusive titles for the system. Just about the most fun $20 can buy you these days.

Go Loco with Loco Roco 2Mar 07, 2009
By Kelly Wrinkle This is a great sequel to a great game. Perfect for all ages I would highly recommend this game to anyone with a PSP. Colorful with addictive music you'll find yourself humming the music even after you've stopped playing. Great levels and addictive mini-games games like this are the reason I bought my PSP.

Addictive Fun!Feb 23, 2009
By Indira I have never been the biggest videogame enthusiast since I am more of a puzzle and challenge kind of girl rather than action adventure or shoot em up game. I just recently purchased a PSP so I had a change of pace from my Cooking Mama and Super Mario Bros on the DS that you have to use the pointer for most of the time to play (sometimes I just want to play a good ole fashioned videogame). I turned this on and literally have had to make a large effort to put it down since! It is challenging enough that you have to think about things however it isn't to the point where you just get frustrated and give up and refuse to play the game anymore ha ha. I can see how if you are a crazy action fanatic this can get boring for you, however if you are like me and like the puzzles but don't want to be stumped into not being able to do anything in the game then this is the game for you. I am looking into purchasing the first one as well since apparently it has more levels yet the same type of play.

Let me tell you guys, I like to play mature games like(Def jam fight for NY the takeover, Silent Hill and others) but I tried my son's game LocoRoco 2 and "I LOVED IT". The game is simple, interesting, addicting and for the most part it will make you happy. I will recommend it to everyone young or old.
