Could have been better, but its okApr 03, 2002

"Big Evil"
Pretty much Tony Hawk on a bike, Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX is a good bit of fun, and it is a lot better than the only other BMX game for Dreamcast, Acclaim's Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX. My only complaints are that its just not as fun as the Tony Hawk games, and it can be quite frustrating at times as well. Also, there is not much difference between this version and the PS1 version. The graphics are a bit better and the loading times are almost non-existent, but so much more could and should have been added to this package to makes this game a must have. All in all though, if your looking for a good sports game, and this is one of the last third party Dreamcast games, then you can't go wrong with Mr. Hoffman.
This game rocks!!!Oct 29, 2002
By Geoff Kilian Go buy this game now. It rocks. You can play as the legendary Mat "The Condor" Hoffman, Cory "Nasty" Nastazio,Mike "Rooftop" Escamilla, and a lot of other great BMX riders. There are 8 great levels to play. If you like the Tony Hawk games, you'll like this. You should also get Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2. It is even better.
Cool game but expect Tony Hawk on a bikeAug 08, 2001
This game is really really good but i'd avoid it unless you dont already have Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 or you're a big BMX biking fan, there's tons of tricks, a phenomenal soundtrack including Outkast and Deltron 3030, and plenty of modes, a create a skater, create a track, and career mode to keep you busy. But if biking isn't your thing or you have Tony Hawk 2, stick to that.

MUCHO BETTER THAN DAVE MIRRANov 21, 2001
By TJ the graphics are great the music is better, you can play two player at the same time, the tricks are realistic and it is just a lot of fun to play, unless your a couch potatoe who doesn't bmx just sits around and crys if the game is to hard or if he has thumb sores from holding the controller all day, then this game isn't for u, get dave mirra, but if u actually ride get this not mirra.
