About time there's an great game for Nicktoons on GBANov 09, 2006

As an adult who tests out games for my nephews. I was skeptical about buying this game because I had bought Spongebob Yellow Avenger for the Nintendo DS and it was okay. I can't give a full review on The Yellow Avenger because I only played with it for about 10 min before I quit. However when I started playing with Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, I was immediately hooked! It's a great simple game for not too young kids. (5 & up)
You start with Spongebob and you explore vast areas of Volcano Island going through the stages collecting hearts & items. Once you've reached the end of the stage, you collect another character, Danny Phantom, then finish that level, get Timmy Turner then Patrick. You get to unlock bonus levels. Each character has it's own special powers that helps you get pass certain levels.
This game keeps you going. It's hard to put it down! I'm glad I didn't waste my money on this one. It's worth buying for almost all ages. I enjoyed going through stages and not be stuck somewhere too long. When you get stuck, you eventually figure it out.
Loads of fun!!
UPDATE: I finally FINISHED the game!! Boy was it fun!! You have to get 115 points to finish the game. There were 2 areas where I thought it was impossible to pass. After many many tries, I finally got through those areas! It can be done. What a great game! My 6 yr old nephew loved it. We actually helped each other beat certain levels!! Great for all ages I'd say!
