Very nostalgic but...Jun 13, 2010 I thought this would be a great re-make like Spy Hunter. I was wrong. The game play is still 80's. The graphics and sound are only slightly better than Atari. It might be fun for younger players os if you want a trip down memory lane but otherwise it gets old quick. I played it twice and shelved it. If you like racing games, ANY of the Need For Speed titles are a better choice.

ARCADEOct 26, 2009 This is an ARCADE style driving game. If you like GT4, pass on this. I read a lot of reviews calling this a great game. They were written by young people who imagine what driving is like. After an hour with this game, I added it to my stack of games to give to my grand children when they get a little older.

OR 2006, which is NOW AVAILABLE ON XBOX LIVE ARCADE and probably the Playstation Network, is one of the finest racing games/arcade simulators available....
This game offers what most other games don't; a solid, yet relaxing experience that can be enjoyed for 5 minutes, or 5 hours..... you can play to your heart's content and not feel the strain and anxiety associated with today's stressful and irritating games.
5 stars, my highest recommendation!!
Also, as a side note, please support SHMUPS (arcade shooters). Raiden IV, Raiden Fighters Aces, Ultimate Shooting Collection, and MANY others are available for Next Gen gaming consoles.
Also, check out Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and TriggerHeart Exelica.... very fine games, indeed.

Great racing game!Jan 02, 2008 The Heart Attack mode makes this game stand out from other racing games. In this mode your "girlfriend" asks you to skid, avoid crashing, or pick up or hit items as you drive. Much more interesting than just tring to beat the time or other cars. My nephews(all in there twenties and car fanatics) couldn't stop playing.

Outstanding Game!Sep 30, 2007 This is an extremely fun game and I'd recommend it to anyone. Even if you have several racing games it's worth getting this one because it's so unusual,compared to other PS2 racing games I've seen.
