Not working with my PSP-1001Oct 17, 2010
By K.J.Hartman I'm not sure the product I received was actually from Pelican. It was in a generic, unmarked package. When I plug it into my PSP-1001, the orange light comes on, but was unable to power on the PSP for about an hour. The unit will not work off the charger (shut down after about 5 minutes). So I left it on the charger for 24 hours. After 48 hours, the battery still only showed 1 bar. To be sure it wasn't my battery, I tried my PSP on my friend's original SONY charger - that started charging fine, and was going much faster. I can only conclude that either the charger is defective, or not compatible with the PSP-1001. Either way, wasn't worth the hassle to return it.

Great PSP AC AdapterMay 27, 2009

So my dog ate through my old PSP adapter and I came on here to see if I could pick up a new one. I didnt feel like spending full price on the Sony one, so I gave this a try. Works perfectly and is much cheaper than the sony brand. Ive had it for a few months and no problems whatsoever. I would buy this again and recommend it.

Great for a 3rd. party adapter.Oct 12, 2011
By The (other) guy. For only $3.00, this adapter works great! The main problems I encountered was that it couldn't plug in to my psp 3000 all the way. But it still fit and stayed in just fine. The adapter tends to heat slightly witch would normally cause problems over time, but it wasn't warm enough to be much of a concern. The plug fits nicely into the wall, and have so far had no safe hazards. And for $3, it's more than worth it.
