Simple, but funMar 18, 2008

I purchased this after playing my daughter's Horsez 2 game. Overall, it is fun, but it is very simple. For the most part, if you feed and water the hamsters, they will be happy and you'll accumulate a lot of stars (the stars are used like money). My biggest complaint is that there isn't a lot to do and there are options for things like adding a second story to the house, but it is never available when I go to the pet store. In all, the pet store selection is extremely limited. It would be more fun if I could build a large house with lots of accessories.

Hamsterz 2 Nintendo DSJul 17, 2008

My daughter, 11, was really happy to get this game at first but tired of it quickly. The hamsters are moody and don't do as much as the product info says. Graphics are pretty good. She likes Hamsterz Life better.

Well we've been playing this for well ever since we bought it and keep giving up on it. It won't unlock any of the things it says it will. The hamster bites anyone who tries to pet it. Please help. - I will now only buy games I've previewed on youtube, or if I check reviews on amazon.

A Kid's Review: It's pretty good...Aug 11, 2010
I think I have the same game, the pictures don't look the same but the description and stuff is the same. My game says Petz Hamsterz 2 so I have no idea. Anyways, people are saying the hamsters are moody and will bite you. Well that's not their fault, it's yours. To like this game you must be very patient and mild, if you like adventure games or games with an overall goal, this is not the game for you. Back to what I was saying before, if you want your hamster to not bite you you must put your petting utensils away and watch it for about five minutes, then try petting it, it should like you better. You will also think the store is always empty and never has anything good. You need to buy hamsters to get more stuff in your store. It happens pretty fast. Some people are saying that if you visit your cousin a lot then you will get mini games. I'm not sure, but maybe... so anyways, this game is not BORING. It's REALISTIC. Caring for 'hamsterz' is not exactly a nerve-wracking adventure game in real life, so think about it. This game is realistic. P.S. Dwarf hamsters are always finishing the food really quickly, by the way. And after a while, the girl at the store will invite you over to her house. Okay bye.

BoringFeb 12, 2009
Don't get this mixed up with the original!! This one sucks! It's so boring and depressing. I ended up trading it in for Animal Crossing the day I got it. You are gonna wanna buy it for your kid because of the cute cover. Don't do it. It's a bad game.
But get Hamsterz, the original!! It's so much fun!!
