Chemical X-Traction features two modes of play: the main Story Mode, which is one-player only and involves fighting the characters in succession until victorious, and the Simulator Mode, which can be played with one or two players. Adjustable options include round length, number of rounds per fight, and difficulty level (easy, medium, or hard). Progress during the Story Mode can be resumed at a later time by entering a password awarded at the end of each battle.

By James I am 33 and bought this game for my 4 year old daughter who is pretty decent at video games. I like the PPG and have been known to watch a few episodes with my daughter. If I had a choice of watching a re-run of the PPG for the 10th time and playing this game, I would watch the re-run. This game is too hard for a normal adult. You are not able to block punches effectively nor are you allowed to run away to another part of the screen when you are getting (beat up) which is quite often. I was also hopeful that this would be an adventure/fighting game instead of a Mortal Kombat wannabe. For the age group they have targeted, this game is truly a let down. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying this. Do not buy this game unless you have nothing better to do with your cash.

By Carol My daughter (5 1/2 yrs. old) loves the Power Puff Girls and absolutely loves this game. She always wants to play it and thanked me for getting it for her - she can't stop giving me hugs and kisses. This game is definitely worth getting for a PPG fan.

This is an excellent N64 titleNov 15, 2001
By William Gates I was very surprised at the quality of this title, especially so late in the life of the N64. The 3D versions of the Powerpuff girl characters are excellent and the style of the artwork suits the cartoon well. The game is very accessible too - it was easy to pick up and play and beat the first couple of characters. Later characters are definitely harder to beat but not impossible.
The only thing that lets this game down is the appaulingly repetitive tune that plays continuously. So buy an X-Box.

Glad to see someone putting out new games for the Nintendo 64. Powerpuff Girls is one of the few games both my son and daughter like besides Mario games.

By Ozzy Jones Hmmm...oh,yeah..about 10 minutes.The "moves" aren't stronger then others,the animation is funky,and unlocking all the characters takes about 5 minutes..And where are the Amoeba Boys?They could have a special attack that you stick to them,or something... This was just a sorry excuse for a game,and it's not even good to rent.It had a good idea,but ended up being trash...PPG fans will be dissapointed.
