Rengoku 2 is the sequel to the hit action game. The tower of Rengoku is a never-ending show of hell and its dark wonders, where war lives eternal. This is where the Autonomous Dueling Armed Machines (ADAMs) were banished; in the past they were efficient weapons of war, but with the tides of peace came the end of their usefulness. Time passes and in one long forgotten Rengoku, one ADAM began its awakening... Suprising!!Jan 15, 2009

With all the bad reviews I was shocked when I picked this title up at my local Gamestop and found a game that even if you don't like the story is a good run around and kill things stress reliever for those long boring days at the office! The level design towards the top of the tower can get a little frustrating but all in all I think the series as a whole could go for some better looks than most of the big game sites give it credit for.
Better Than the First One!Jun 07, 2010

Seriously, if you LOVE robots, techno music, violence, and emo storylines this is a great game. The story is thin but when you're blowing up enemy robots with enough firepower attatched to your body to take out a small country who cares?
Keep in mind the difficulty is extremely challenging so if you're not a hardcore action gamer or robot lover it's not for you.

Tons of fun.Jun 11, 2007
By Heavenlyarcher This game is the sequel to one of my favorite PSP titles, Rengoku: Tower Of Purgatory. It's pretty simple; if you liked the first one, you'll like this. If you didn't like the first one, don't expect anything more from this.
This game is almost identical to the first, and although is has a new set of enemies and weapons, it still feels lke you're replaying the first game. As a hude fan of the series, I loved it, but if you have mixed feelings about the first, I would recommend buying a different game.
Also, if you haven't played the first game, do not buy this game. I highly recommend playing the first one, seeing how you like it, and then determining if you want to buy the sequel.

Sequels sometimes are betterJan 01, 2008
By tiger351w Basically a follow-on to the first Rengoku. It appears to pick up where the story left off, answers many of the questions of why... play is very similar to the first game with new weapons and opponents. I actually liked the game play of this version better than the first game.
