fun gameJul 27, 2010 If you are a fan of the dynasty warriors games you will like this. The whole game is just murdering tons of dudes, some of the most fun i've had. they also did a great job in making a simple style of game challenging. The graphics are bad by current standards but the game is totally worth it. Also, ninjas a pretty cool. Don't look, but there is one hiding behind you right now...

Do you like mindless button-mashing?Jul 10, 2009 Ok, I recently got this game in a two-pack off amazon that came with Earth Defense Force 2017. This game makes me very afraid to play that one. The landscapes are barren, camera angles are odd, and the voice-overs are laughable, honestly I laughed at it. I really do try to give games a chance before I decide if I like it or not. I didn't even know who the good guys and bad guys were in this game. I was basically swinging at anything that moved. Unless you are a fan of Dynasty Warrior type games, which I guess I am not, stay far away from this stinker!

Took a good game and made it better.Mar 13, 2009 When I got my hands on the first installment of Samurai Warriors, I thought it was a lot of fun. When I got this one, I was shocked to see how much they had improved on the original. The combat system is much more fluid and intuitive. The in-game store allows players to spend money earned in missions to customize the characters to better match the player's own style. There are more playable characters than before, and individual story modes allow for quite a lot of replay value. Sadly, Koei removed the irritating character creation feature from the first game rather than fixing it. One of my favorite features, and the reason I bought it for Xbox 360 rather than PS2, is that the Xtreme Legends expansion pack is an Xbox Live downloadable patch rather than a separate disc that has to be swapped in and out during game-play. Some may consider this game just another hack-and-slash-fest from Koei, but as a fan of samurai, ninjas, and killing virtual opponents by the thousands, I highly recommend it.

great beattem upFeb 23, 2008 if you like beaten the tar out of who ever in front of you then get it if your looking for super inavation well look some where else i like this cause it reminds me of those dynasty warrior series if you like that then buy this like i did ok take care p.s. gundam style game thats out seem pretty cool
