By Christian Nielsen wow , at first i thought it was me . the psp plays like a board game . see the other reviews . i thought i would have some control of tony montana . like vic in grand theft auto or like godfather for psp mob wars . but i was so wrong . sure this game might play well on other platforms but for the psp . DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY . YOU WILL BE SORRY. I have never been this down on a game but i get more excited playing checkers and this game is close to playing electronic checkers and takes more time . my regret was i should have waited for the reviews . i have not read one good one for psp . they should pay us to play it

First i was so pumped when i bought this game because my friend has it for PS2 and its sick so i didnt even read the reviews. dont make my mistake. this game is not a 1st person shooter like the ps2 version, instead it is a stratgy game like risk or something just with drugs. you dont actually get to shoot anyone, the computer does that for you. Do not buy this game.

I am a huge fan of the scarface movie and Al Pacino movies in general. I remember Scarface had resurfaced in popularity in New York during the time of this game, and I bought it the week it came out. I kept seeing those commercials and reviews and the game looks like Grand Theft Auto...I figured with 2 GTA games out on the PSP that played very similarly to it's console counterpart, that Scarface would be the same on the PSP. The commercials never showed how the PSP game looked, they just showed gameplay from the consoles and mentioned "Also on the PSP".
I went to purchase this game (NEW), opened it and popped it in. I saw nothing that resembled the gameplay on TV. It's basically gang wars, except you; the player do nothing but press and click. No skill needed whatsoever, just keep clicking away. The PSP version of scarface has no cool movies, or footage, or gameplay...It's just playing Risk (The Board Game) on your PSP, with a gang war twist. That's it. So if you want to play RISK, on your PSP, then maybe this game is what you're looking for. However chances are if you've looked here, you want to play Scarface. DO NOT buy this game. Save yourself from the boredom. I spent 40 bucks on this, and only got about 5 back...within the same week of purchase. This game isn't even worth a rent. In my opinion do not even waste your time.

By Lenora Amato I paid 40 bucks for this game and you can't do anything with it. All you ever do is pick different turfs for fake people to go out and shoot at each other, but you the player can do NOTHING. Major waste of money.

First of all, potential buyers/renters need to understand that this is NOT a shooting game by any means. It's entirely strategy with a Scarface spin to it. It has all the grit of the film, but you don't get to pull the trigger in this version. I actually thought that was a good thing because I've grown quite tired of the mindless shooting games that flood the market these days. I purchased this game right after I completed The Godfather: Mob Wars since I loved the strategy aspect of that game. When I purchased Scarface I was hoping that the strategy aspect of the game would be as addicting as the one I experienced while playing The Godfather: Mob Wars, and it was!! If you like strategy games please give this game a shot. It's been ripped to shreds in so many reviews by those who did not do their research and bought it thinking that it was another GTA spin off. This game is NOTHING like GTA and is mostly strategy with a little bit of turned-based action, but it is a very addicting game once you get into it. The game is pretty easy to understand thanks to a well executed tutorial mission and is pretty straight forward from there. If you're a fan of the film and you enjoy light strategy games you should enjoy this game a lot. Happy gaming!
