this shouldn't be called a wii gameJan 19, 2010
By J. Good the box says it has 60+ games, but only 9 of them (2 require the balance board) have anything to do with the wii. the majority of the "games" are just instructions for things to do not on the wii, and many of them require you to have things that you'd never know that you'd need if you don't go through them in advance to get a shopping list. up to 16 people can play, but each game is only for one or two people, so while they're playing, everyone else just sits around and watches. the real wii games are very short and seem to target a pretty young audience. there is no way i'd recommend this game to anyone! there are just too many "games" to list and explain, but here's a sampling.
real wii games: buzzy buzzer: drag the hoop around the wire as quickly as possible, while trying to avoid contact with the wire (this isn't even unlocked until later in the game) grab the sticker: grab moving stickers and put them in your sticker book, but avoid the bombs. burst balloons: race to inflate and burst balloons before the time runs out. crazy sandwiches: assemble wacky sandwich combinations. don't count your chickens: use your sticker to heard chickens into their coops. fortune teller: find the stars in the crystal ball and uncover them to reveal a prediction. instrumental: follow the same pattern as aime on the instruments. balance the tray: use the wii balance board to prevent items from falling off the tray. dodge the pie: use the wii balance board to avoid pies aimee fires at you.
sampling of games that don't use the wii at all: abcelebrity: players take turns to name a celebrity beginning with the next letter of the alphabet. hot and cold: the wii remote is hidden and one player must find it using hot and cold instructions from the other players. on a road trip: players take turns to add an item to the list of what they'd all bring on a road trip. balancing face mask: make a face mask that is ideal for re-balancing oily skin. palm reader: a blindfolded player must guess who is in front of them by only touching their hands. act it: a player is given a role to act out and the other players must guess what she is acting out. distraction: one player must remain absolutely still while the others try to make her laugh or move.

Not for older girlsFeb 27, 2010
By Catherine Banks We got this for my daughters 13th bday party. After trying it out we didnt even use it. It is geared more towards elementary age kids. Great graphics and such, just disappointed in the "babiness" of it.
