Good Game for the KidsJun 22, 2010 Superman Returns is a good game for the kids because of it's relatively simple gameplay and repetitive objectives, but for that same reason it is also a bit of a bore for anyone over - oh let's say - 10 years old. If you want a game that you can play without paying too much attention to it, then go ahead and pick this up. It's worth the tiny price tag. But I would suggest spending your money elsewhere for a game with more long-term playability. :)
Interesting gameplay and suprizingly vivid 3d graphics !Mar 30, 2010 This game has many different features and a convenient multi-player. It features clear 3d graphics which are rare on a handheld system ! The superpowers that you are able to use are diverse and original. This game also employs a puzzle format that's unique for Superman games.
Not a bad game if you get a low price.Mar 26, 2010 Its a huge improvement from superman for the Xbox. Exploring the city is similar to how you can explore in spiderman. Controls are touchy, kinda awkward. Not far into the game but its kept my interest so far. Not a nail biter or something you'll be addicted to. I bought mine new off Amazon for $5.00 so I can't complain. Get it cheap and you'll enjoy it if you have simple taste in gaming.
My son was in heaven.....Feb 03, 2010 I bought this game for my son, who LOVES superheroes. We had a hard time finding this particular game that was new and not used. But when we found it here and it was new for an awesome price we couldnt pass it up.
Man of Steel sinks in this gamesOct 07, 2009 I am an avid Superman fan. So when I finally came around to playing the game, I am excited to see how years of Technological growth translate my favorite superhero. As some have mentioned, the game starts off incredibly strong. While the effects and background weren't Da Vinci, it actually felt and looked like a city. And the flying around like Superman was amazing. I give the producers credit, every detail about Supe's flight (sound, ground shattering, breaking the sound barrier) added to the overall experience. And then the game continues, and it becomes incredibly repetitive and tedious. The city's damage becomes the Man of Steel's health bar. Great! But there are so many fires breaking out everywhere you wonder if this Metropolis was made of cardboard. The improvements on past Superman games are welcomed, but the stories still need help taking off.
