An okay, but boring game...Apr 10, 2007
I got this game along with several games...Tamagotchi connection is a good game and there were many shops that could be unlocked. For example, the cake shop. The cake shop is my favorite because you can design your cakes, and waffles, or even make your original. You can also take snapshots while decorating. There's tons more, and when the princess comes to you your shop, she will ask her servants to expand your shop, then more shops will be unlocked. Now, there are only two shops which i have not unlock. Everytime the princess expands a shop, items will be available for you to buy and decorate your partner's home.
Pros:
>the game is cute, and the graphics were clear. Though, it is not 3D, it is still very colorful, and I think that it would be great for children.
> sometimes, the levels get tougher than what you expect, but its still okay because it would then be boring if everything will be easy.
>when you do a mistake, your partner would say something (results of what you've made) for example, you made a burnt cake, then, he'll respond as soon as you finish decorating your cake "lets try better next time", and your costumer would cry. You should also be fast in doing this and that, because your costumer might leave and might never come back, but still, there's time for improvement.
>challenging even for teens like me.
>worth the price
> more entertaining and interesting than the tamagotchi (the small circular handhelds that have white and black screens) but still, its kinda okay...
Cons:
>May seem to be repetitive, because in the botique shop, the costumer would order the same thing (to be specific, the pants, blue in cloth color, and the buttons were green)
>It can be finished in (not more than) two weeks
> the microphone which is to be used in the concert hall, is quite difficult to manage, even i can't do it.
>when you finish the game, what will you do next? I'd say, buy animal crossing, or nintendogs which is really entertaining, they are even worth the price (I think they are endless, but its quite good) plus, animal crossing and nintendogs offer 3D graphics, and the microphone is quite handy.
I got this game today, and i havent stoped playing it! The game is the best game i have for Nintendo ds. I can pick a tama to be, then i can run my shop, it can be a burger joint,(my favorite)a sushi bar, a concert hall, a flower maker, evan a clothing designer! Watch out for the queen, if she thinks your shop is good, she'll make it biger! Besides runing your shop, you can take care of your tama like in the hand held tamagotchi! Only in the game you can make a room for your tamagotchi. One thing that i really love, is that you can sing in the concert hall with the mic on your DS, and it gives a higher score if you sound good with the song there playing! This game tottally R.O.C.K.S !!!!!

Incredibly Fun!Jun 03, 2008
By Shelly Just like the first Tamagotchi game, this doesn't actually involve much care of your pet (rewards are for aesthetical purposes only - you don't actually take care of your friend). Nevertheless, the mini games are a lot of fun and can get pretty challenging at times. If you know any Japanese, the game is all that much more enjoyable! Many of the characters have silly names that translate into things like "Young Grandpa" and such. Although a lot of the "vocalizations" are gibberish, the sushi restaurant does incorporate understandable Japanese words. When you choose a drink it will say "onomimono;" when you choose shrimp, "ebi" will be announced - etc.
My only qualm with the game, so far, is that I don't know if the Dentist or the Cleaners has been included. I really enjoyed those in the first game.
Overall, though, it is worth a purchase at any age.
Great!Jul 24, 2011
By Meg I bought this for a 6-year-old girl. She loves it! The reading level is fine for grades 1-2. The games get a little more difficult as you go along. It's fun enough to keep kids entertained during long car rides. It is repetitive, but there are so many different shops that you can switch to another shop game.
I would recommend this for young girls.

By Piper I absolutely loved the first Tamagotchi game, so I figured that this would also be a great game to purchase. It was just like the first one but you get to play with different types of shops! It is defintely worth purchasing if you enjoyed the first one!
