Did not want to like it at firstJan 17, 2011
By Rose Madder First off let me start by saying I have loved tamagotchis since their appearence in the US back in 96' and I have quite a collection of them. I am twenty five and still play with them, and my husband bought this game for me for Christmas. At first, I was not impressed. Just looking at the cover immediately screamed 'kid's game', but then yeah...I still play with tamagotchis. So, I popped it into the DS and wow! It's an addictive little game! The shops are interesting, and I love seeing all the different types of tamagotchis. Some of the shops are a little hard to get started, because the directions were not clear on what to do. Oh well, a few pissed off tamagotchis never hurt anyone (right?). I am really enjoying this simple game. For the most part, it is very easy and smooth running. It also automatically saves when you shut your DS off which is a plus. If you are an adult like me and like tamagotchis, this might be worth checking out.

You pick a Tamagotchi character and you name and dress others.
You work at shops and make stuff (cards for the card shop), a garden shop where you help plants grow and sell them. You can unlock shops and work at them to unlock other shops and if you do well you earn new accessories for the Tamagotchi.
My daughter loves this game and has tons of fun playing!
Really creative and unique.Jul 12, 2011
By Danijo This is probably one of the entries of the 3 Corner Shop series. To start off, you basically run a wide variety of shops each with their own unique options. You can select your Tamagotchi partners from Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, and (new) Violetchi anytime.
Much like the previous two games, you preform different tasks to please your customers. You can upgrade them up to four levels. They start out easy but get increasingly difficult as you progress.
Since I've played all three, I've notice this one plays a tad slow. But that you can easily get used to.
My favorite shops are the Ice Cream Parlor, Bakery, and Day Spa, just to name a few. I was really loving this one after playing. Although, the first one and third is definitely better.
Anyways, the shops are really fun and creative. It can a tad difficult but once you play more, you get better. In my opinion, this game, including the first one, is definitely better than the second, in my opinion.
I highly recommend for anyone who has played the first and second to get this game. You will not regret it.
It's excellent for killing the hours of waiting. The downside is the Garden Shop, Garden Bakery, Piano Studio, and Day Care Center can be a bit repetitive.
It's a winner!Jul 05, 2011
By Gaming Mama My daughter is 8 (almost 9) and this is what she said......
You can choose from 4 different characters. In this game, you run different shops such as..... a flower shop, piano lesson studio, a daycare center, a card shop, a day spa, a treasure hunting shop and an ice cream stand. (She said that is all she has unlocked so far.) Working in the shops earns you Gotchi money....which you can then use to unlock food and clothes for the tomagotchis. She likes this game better than Corner Shop 2. And she didn't like Corner Shop 1 at all. If you like this series, try Tomagotchi Party On for the Wii. (Picked it up used for $3.50 and both my kids really love it!!)

By C.S.S. I got this game for my seven year old and she really got excited about it. I would reccomend this game for children who are at a good reading level as there is alot of reading in the game. She really likes all of the mini games offered in the game and has not grown tired of it.
