5Loved it!Oct 30, 2009

I really enjoyed this game - it was fun, smart, very DS-ish :). The puzzles were little bit on the easier side, but I believe the game was created for kids, not me ;). But not to say that puzzles were easy! Lots of unique puzzles, some repetative ones but with different difficulty levels (map puzzle). Really funny characters - make sure to read the dialogs! Beautiful music... If they make another one - I'll buy it. Also it was a great gift for my nephew and niece.

5Adult Gamer ReviewFeb 17, 2010
By PMcOuntry "PMcOuntry"
After having played one of the Nancy Drew games for DS and being very disappointed I did not have high hopes for this game.

I was pleasantly surprised! This game isn't too easy and it's not to hard. It has a great hint function that comes in handy sometimes. The game and puzzles are actually logical, unlike some adventure games. It has a great story, great graphics, fun puzzles, and is very enjoyable.

I am not done with the game but I love it. I hope there will be more in this series!

If you like these types of games, I highly recommend this game. I'm an adult gamer who enjoys the Nancy Drew PC series and other various adventure games. I am new to the whole DS thing, but I'm glad there are some wonderful adventure games like this out there for it.

5Enjoyable & educationalMar 31, 2010

This was a fun & fast moving game & does a good job at using the touch screen option.
Even though there is mixing fact with fiction, a player still gets to learn a little bit of history without feeling like they are being given a history lesson.

5Quite the Adventure!Dec 07, 2009

This game had very VIVID images and the stories taking you through the game were very compelling. The game can be picked up and played for 30 minutes at a time or played for longer periods - the save option was a great asset. The interaction of switching between the characters and the awsome scenery definetely added to the play . Will play this again!

4decent game, not overly challengingJun 20, 2010
By L. Nicholas "AmazonQueen"
I bought this game to fill my time until another Professor Layton game comes out. The game is an OK substitute - it has various mini-games to solve, and an entertaining enough story. However, it is not anywhere near as good as the Professor Layton series. The puzzles are not nearly as challenging, but in some cases that is a good thing. It is a good game to relax with or take your mind off your other problems, as it will entertain you but not be overly taxing mentally. If you are looking for something to test your brain every day, or to give you a big challenge, this is not the game for you. However, if you just want something fun to do on the train or while you are waiting for the doctor, this is the game for you!
