4If you have younger kids, this is the game for you.Nov 21, 2004
By specgirl "mom to boys"
It's hard finding 'E' games that really are appropriate for my 7-year-olds; hard enough that they will feel that they have succeeded but not so difficult that they will be frustrated. There are some harder sequences - particularly the first battle sequence - where they needed some help. But, all in all, this has proven to be a great find. With older siblings in the house, we've had to come to terms with video games taking the place of TV time as rewards for our younger boys. This game - and the first (Ty 1) have filled that requirement.

4Full Fun!!Mar 21, 2007

Ty 2 is a very special game. Very suitable for kids as it does not contain violence which is healthy during growing ages. I recommend the complete serie of Ty. Besides, it is all about aussie (Australian) adventure, an unknown world for many kids and parents.

5The Greatest Game Ever PlayedNov 26, 2005

This game is awesome. You're in Australia and you're a tasmanian tiger named Ty.You have all of these different boomerangs that do different things. For example, one boomerang freezes, one sets things on fire, and ond zaps things. Another thing is there are five tasks to do at one time so if one is too hard, then you can try a different task. If you want a game that is awesome all of the way through, then this is the game for you.

1A Huge DissapointmentJan 07, 2005

My family adored Ty the Tasmanian tiger - we all played it over and over. It was easy enough for my five year old and I to both be able to play alone.

I jumped at the chance to buy Ty2 right away, and was so upset by this one. This one just jumps right in to a huge battle with mutliple bad guys from the first game, without giving you a chance to ease in. If I was new to Ty games, maybe I would have liked it better, but there was something about the first game's laid back style that appealed to my family. You could explore that game. In this one, 2 seconds in you are battling a ton of bad guys. There's no into to the story.

Worse, the 2nd battle in has been unbeatable to us. Now we have actually finished the first Ty game, even the harder levels - but my son played this game for exactly one day before he gave up in frustration. Neither he, my husband nor I could get past the huge robots you fight in either the 2nd or third battle, and we ended up in and endless loop trying to kill them. Horribly frustrating, and just sad. They took an excellent game franchise possibility and ruined it. I guess we'll just have to keep playing the first Ty.

3It's okay.Nov 08, 2005
