Ante up! Vegas Stakes for the Super Nintendo offers you the chance to gamble your way through Las Vegas with a whole assortment of games to play. There are five games, including such classics as slot machines, Blackjack, and poker. There are four different casinos to visit that offer up different betting structures and varying odds. The game starts you out with $1,000, but the sky's the limit, if you win. Along the way you'll also meet some people who will offer you the chance to join in some side betting, such as horse racing or boxing matches. If you feel that a bet is not entirely in your favor, a battery save option is available just in case it doesn't pan out as you had hoped. Vegas Stakes is just like the real city: exuberant, exciting, and above all else, unpredictable. Made for Super Nintendo.

Phenominal game within a game within a game.Oct 19, 2001

Joy ride to Vegas and play one of five casino games, Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker and Craps. That is the tip of the iceberg though. When you are earning money from these games, random yahoos come up to you asking you for advice, wanting you to invest, on a date, or just trying to mug you. That adds to the gambling! Very nice game, gamble til you go broke pretty much.

I think this game is fun. it teaches you how to play the different gembling games such as craps, blackjack, and poker. if you ever plan a trip to Las Vegas, it will do you some good to play this game a couple of times. Even though I've beaten the game four times already, it is still very challenging.
Pretty Good game,GB Version Slightly BetterNov 04, 2010
By Pimpdawg Personally, gambling games are'nt my forte, but given how much i enjoyed the GB version(which i purchased n summer 96)i was clearly gonna get the SNES version 1 day.Although fun n it's own right the SNES version does'nt have the boxing and horse gambling options found in it's GB brethern or the cool ending scene/music.Nevertheless i found a new one on amazon.com 4 under $10 n 2010.SNES fans get this game before the sellers start jacking up the prices like most popular SNES games.
