The epic story of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker continues as Link finds himself lost in a new adventure. Link and Tetra, the leader of a band of pirates, discover a ghost ship in dense fog. Link falls into the ocean when Tetra gets into trouble, and he wakes up alone on the shore of a mysterious island. Throughout the game, Link collects sand for his Phantom Hourglass, which allows him to explore deeper and deeper into a time-limited dungeon in his quest to find Tetra. Featuring intuitive touch-screen controls and innovative puzzles, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass offers new challenges for fans of the series and an easy-to-grasp introduction for gamers new to The Legend of Zelda. The robust single-player adventure will have Zelda veterans and newcomers alike engrossed by the story as they move through the game with the stylus. A special two-player battle mode lets players connect locally or via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. One player controls Link as he tries to gather as many Force Gems as possible, while the other player manages the enemies who pursue Link. The replayability of these winner-take-all matches is virtually endless.
Features:
•
The stylus makes controlling Link easier than ever. Tap on the screen to make Link move, or sweep the stylus around him to swing the sword.
•
Players can even draw a path for his boomerang and send it flying into hard-to-reach targets.
•
Players can stash the map on the top screen for quick reference or drop it to the touch screen to make notes, study enemies, or chart a path for their boat to follow while they man the cannons.
•
Compete with a friend over a local wireless connection - Guide Link through special dungeons to capture the Triforce or command the forces that oppose him.

You call this non-linear?Jul 28, 2010 The first zelda game i have ever played was ocarina of time when i was five years old. I continued to play until twilight princess which was very fun. I have beaten most of the zelda games so I decided I would buy it for my dsi. Little did I know this isn't even a zelda game. You have to keep going to the TOTOK (Temple of the Ocean King) for like sixty floors. It doesn't make any sense. As I got to the middle of the game the floors started getting timed and it was just pressuring and stupid. I decided I would return this and five months later a new sequel came out which was the spirit tracks. I took a risk and bought spirit tracks and boy was i happy. Spirit tracks is ten times better because the dungeons aren't timed and there is no TOTOK. IF YOU WANT TO BUY A GOOD ZELDA GAME FOR DS/DSI BUY SPIRIT TRACKS.
fun!Jul 12, 2010 This is the best zelda game i have ever played!(i havent played any other) lol. But ya i really enjoyed this game. the only bad part is going back to the same dungeon a bunch of times.

must buyJun 15, 2010 Nintendo has done it again. Wonderful graphics. For all puzzle fans, Great bosses for beginners. Funny interesting story line. Music isn't as catchy as Spirit Tracks but good. Perfect game for all DS owners and Zelda fans
Kids love it!May 19, 2010 If you have avid Zelda fans in your family, this incarnation will not dissapoint. My children LOVE Phantom Hourglass and it has brought them many hours of enjoyment. I highly recommend it.
AddictiveApr 08, 2010 This was my first Zelda game and I am so impressed by the quality of the game. It is really well-made and kept me interested throughout the play.
Stylus control became a breeze after 30 minutes. I hate real-time action games and this stylus control made me interested in playing Zelda.
All the characters were interesting but Jolene (who persistently chases Zelda/Lineback).
Some tricks were quite hard for me to figure out but with some help from internet I could defeat the final boss and it made me so happy!
Each weapons are very useful and you can do many different tasks by switching them.
I definitely buy Spirit Tracks to enjoy Zelda world again!
keep avoiding Jolene at all cost, because she is totally annoying and you do not miss anything by doing so.
In order to play this game, you must love lawn mowing/grass cutting, because you have to do it over and over again to collect money! :p
